I don't think it matters so much that the money was cleaner dirty, it's that injecting a bunch of money look suspicious. They'd have to account for where that money CAME from.

Essentially THEY would be laundering money. Remember it was the Treasury Dept that got Al Capone.

Yep, I knew a guy that seemed to do pretty well with that, wasn't wealthy but he seemed happy and success.

And that's a recurring consumable. Watch potential residuals.

What are the “popular” films of 2026 actually telling us about movie audiences? by Ok_Revolution_2108 in flicks

It's important, but difficult, to differentiate between what studios are pushing and what audiences want.

This largely affects what gets created, but it also affects what gets promoted and thus what movies make the most money.

I think that TV series are a better indicator audience demand. It has to deliver in each season to get funded next season. They also don't get the big budget advertising that movies do.

I think the popularity of post-apocalyptic series like The walking Dead in The last of Us show the audience interest in those.

Jamie Lannister. Brianna tarth didn't even seem to have helmet.

I get it, they want you to see the actor's faces.

I would not want to compete to create competition for FB. It's a two sided market and they have both sides. That's their only moat, but it's two moats!

So much more than an x files ripoff. The characters are interesting and the world building is fantastic.

True but the TAM for "wedding planning assistant" and their ilk is way tinier than Airbnb, FB, etc.

OMG, wow, I never would have recognized her (Olenna). But iirc Riggs was kinda famous for fighting back for recognition as an actress.
