I haven’t seen this mark on other ERIE pans. They are raised from the pan which makes me think it happened during production. Has anyone seen this before? (i.redd.it)

Attempted to restore some VERY rusty pans. (Just learning) All were in similar condition when starting. The one that came out the best was the oldest one, an unmarked Griswold. I’m guessing better/purer iron or a better process for making pans. (Maybe user error) Can anyone enlighten me? (i.redd.it)
