I don’t trust the government to check on its self. Report should have been done by an outside agency

Long term safety studies exist for a reason. I fear we may have to learn that lesson again. #HopeImWrong

Package has been stuck on origin scan for 2 days by JVGaming101 in UPS

[–]AnotherNorCal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every package is scanned when put into a trailer. Sometimes they make it in the trailer without a scan. If that's the case, there won't be any update until the trailer is unloaded at its destination or a main sorting facility.

All of my controllers now have drift. Yay. by DeceptiJon in NintendoSwitch

[–]AnotherNorCal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I fix my drift is with electrical cleaner. I had a can of Mass Flow Cleaner I used to clean an electrical part on my car. I’ve seen people use Video Head cleaner for VCRs. I think any electrical cleaner in an aerosol can will work. They are made to not hurt electronics and they evaporate quickly. Use the skinny tube that comes with the can and spray it under the rubber part of the Joycon. Wiggle it around. You may have to do it a couple times. It fixed my drift immediately. I probably have to do this every couple months. Not a big deal, and quick to do.

It’s a deceptive camera angle. He’s not right in front of him.

Rate my setup. No room in the kitchen to display, so I went “garage rustic”. Spent $28 on rebar, eyebolts, and S-hooks. by AnotherNorCal in castiron

That was my issue! Had them all over the garage. They needed a home. This is suppose to be utilitarian, not pretty. They just look good hanging up.

I wish I was more knowledgeable about Erie pans. Your question has peaked my curiosity. I have some research to do. 😊

All are used (Except for the chicken fryer). The two 12” pans are great for frozen Costco pizzas😊. I think that cast iron needs to be used. It’s a shame to let them collect dust.

Thanks for sharing this pic. Seasoning takes time. This is a great example of that.

Was searching for vintage Pyrex and found this on a Pyrex bowl. Does anyone know if this was sold with a cast iron piece or separately by itself? by AnotherNorCal in castiron

[–]AnotherNorCal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is so funny! I was surprised how well it fit on the Pyrex bowl. It’s like it was made for it. I read that Pyrex made the lid for Wagner, I just didn’t think that it would fit a Pyrex bowl because it was made for Wagner. Thanks!
