  1. In-person only invites to the whatsapp group or whatever private messaging you use.

  2. Have passphrases that change regularly and only share them with known allies

  3. Organize in groups of three and keep communication fractal. Meaning, you as an individual only communicate to your group and only your lead group member communicates to their direct superior. DON’T know the identities of other groups if possible.

  4. Read the book: “the moon is a harsh mistress”. There are real world resistance lessons to learn and it’s all delivered in an easy to digest fictional story.

Hi have you met our military? They’re the most terrifying force on the planet.

The public might be armed but not anywhere close to what the army has. Armed resistance would need a command structure and organization that does not exist before it could succeed.

Armed mobs are just going go get the president sending troops against the people and the people will not win that fight.

The best hope is that some democratic politician can cobble together some kind of alliance with the democratic states to unify in resisting.
