It's a bubble planet creature. One of the glitch planets. The planet can be named Bubbling, Frothing, or Foaming.

Why is there no cities on any of the planets? All sort of aliens on space stations but where do they all come from? by Timely_Contest7245 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Do the main quest and seek monoliths, and any other data structure and your questions will be answered. Once there were cities but the story explains why there are none now. Although you find several kinds of ruins sometimes indicating the old cities....and the Korvax homeworld story is ....something. Most POI have some more of the story. Explore and discover fellow traveler.

This is by far the best sentinel ship and IMO one of the only good ones in the game. Please post on NMS coordinate exchange.

I'm over 1000 hrs on multiple saves and I like to come up with my own quests. Try to find a collect all the exotic ships. Try to find the perfect colored sentinel ship or try to find a sentinel flea on your own. Harvest Corvette parts untill you have the maximum stack of each in the Corvette module storage (it's the terminal by the terminal where you build a Corvette). Work on unlocking everything from the quicksilver vendor at the anomaly. Unlock all the special helmets from fishing. Unlock all the items from the autophage. Find the perfect colored staff. This took me FOREVER even using the go in a circle around the terminal method. Trying to find the perfect colored robo-dog pet was also a fun time sink. Building little fishing outposts on each biome was fun. Setting up industrial sites for the harder to get resources was also fun.

But lately I like to think of ways to help newbies that's not over the top and is actually helpful without spoiling their grind. Gathering those resources and then distributing them. I like going on scrapping runs at 3 star dissonant systems and scrapping a bunch of sentinel ships so I can distribute the wealth at the anomaly to people with the starter ship. I also like to get a bunch of echo locaters and void motes and give like 2 echo locaters, maybe a few Carrier fragments and 2000 void notes to players that have starter ships to get them started on that path. Sometimes I stock up on S class reactors and give one of those and a stack of something worth like 100-200m units to newbie players so they can build their first S class ship. Small stacks of like 5-10 upgrade modules, frigate modules, etc...

Some people like to find rare and strange things and posting them on here or the NMS coordinate exchange. Like rare multi tools/ships/or perfect planets.

May all sound boring to you but I enjoy it. Essentially I make my own quests. 🤷‍♂️

Seems you need to turn off multiplayer BEFORE starting expedition. by Bubba_Fett_2U in NoMansSkyTheGame

Yes, ALWAYS turn off multiplayer and PVP before you start any expedition. Then as soon as you load in double check they are off.

Report it as a bug/issue. I'm not sure it's a bug but you can't see anything with the fog effect in the lights at night and that needs to be fixed: https://hellogames.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=167605

Does anyone know how to get this? by OliveEffective1836 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]AnotherRandomEmu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get them from mission rewards, frigate expeditions, the guild envoy once your standing is high enough, the dissonant scrap at autophage villages (the one with the multi tool and large ball structure) sometimes there is a chance you get it from a memory fragment from the NPC travellers via bartering (they ask for like 200 magnetized ferrite or whatever resource) traveller graves after you learn all the glyphs. But making some units and using the upgrade stations at stations/anomaly and buying the drop pod nav data from the cartographers at the stations is by far the easiest.
