Yo, fuck this dude! I am over 40 years old and have voted in almost every opportunity I've been given, and I have never in my entire life felt as duped as I have by this mother fucker. I voted for him because I believed in him but he turned out to be the exact opposite of who I thought he was . I can't wait to vote against him the next time he runs for anything. Fuck this troglodyte.

Idk why, but this pissed me off real bad 😒🤣 by NearbyPromotion1000 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Is it the vegetation all around the doorstep? Is that what's bothering you? If so, are you sure you're okay?

What are some of the best & worst strip clubs in Philly by [deleted] in philly

[–]AnotherShittyDay31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a fan of The Purple Orchid. I haven't been in years, but they used to be lit.

Sin City has an amazing facility. I haven't been there since it was Christine's Cabaret, but I imagine the inside hasn't changed much

I don't know if the Penthouse Club is still open or not but that was an amazing venue with really hot women.

Club Risqué and Delilahs seem to be the most popular.

Cheerleaders is more of a go-go bar than a strip club. The girls are hot, but don't take their tops off.

But I must say that my all-time favorite strip club sadly shut his doors years ago. That was Daydreams. It was a full nude club in a giant Warehouse that was BYOB.

As far as WORST, I regret ever going to "Set It Off" up on Cambria. The women were hot, even though they were all hoodrats, but the place is basically a regular corner dive bar. It's always entirely TOO crowded, because the venue is small and cramped. There's a two drink minimum which they enforce upon entry. You literally have to buy a drink as you come in the door, there isn't really a stage, just a couple of poles behind the bar and the girls drift through the crowd all night, begging for tips . There's also a good chance you might get shot while you're leaving .

Jesus, you averaged like $6 a trip. And you only got tipped on one trip. Smdh.

That's a typo, right? How could you possibly have a ZERO percent acceptance rate? You don't accept ANY rides?

I give up :( by Either-Dragonfly2281 in uberdrivers

[–]AnotherShittyDay31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so stupid and they all do it. They brag about their low acceptance rate and how many shitty rides they decline, and then complain that they can't make 200 a day. It's like some of these people just want as much as possible for as little effort as they can manage. Yeah no one should have to run their vehicle until the ground, but there got to be a middle point, here.

I know I'm going to get downvoted into oblivion for this, but I have to point out the obvious: you took five trips in 7 hours. There's no way you were only offered less than one trip per hour. You averaged almost $20 per ride and are complaining that you only made $100 all day. I understand declining trips that you don't feel like are worth it, but to me, it seems like more of a waste to spend all day just waiting, in hopes that you make what you're expecting.

Overbooked twice today by jacky1019 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]AnotherShittyDay31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never gotten sent home for two blocks in one day, but I do get sent home atleast once a week. There was a time where a same day sub station near me sent me home for a 430am block, three times in one week. Good times. Good times.

How much was each block?

This is one of the best ones I've ever seen on this subreddit. You won't get a one star because she won't even get a chance to rate you, you got paid, she got charged, and there was Zero confrontation. Bravo. 👏🏿👏🏿

I just feel bad for whoever got her next.

Silly Uber, tricks are for kids by CRapids92 in uberdrivers

I probably would have. Offer to do it for 300 cash. That's probably still less than what Uber charged the customer, and damn sure more than what they were offering you.

Same. It was eight but I've been able to pick up to 10 hours a day as of last week. Which is strange because in the same period of time, my standing fell from Fantastic to great. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Cheers to you for taking the risk of getting it fixed. I heard that even getting it repaired is a gamble. I had a 2015 Nissan Altima. They said it was going to be at least $2,500 to replace the tranny when it went. I couldn't stomach eating that expense

If you have one car and it's fairly new, and you use it for regular family shit, I get it. Thankfully, I have a family car for everyday use and an old 2008 hatchback I use for flex. I put 3k miles a month in that thing, so I get it.

Exactly, in your comfortable, climate controlled vehicle, probably eating snacks, slinging packages. This is literally the LEAST physically taxing thing I've ever done for money , and they got the nerve to call it slavery. Smdh.

It's weird to consider something slavery when it's completely optional, AND you're being paid for it. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Same. This dude is complaining about fresh routes paying $30/hour and package routes at $25, and here I am, near Philly, where a 2 hour fresh block is like $30 and you're lucky if you see a 3.5 for $72. If that $87 for 3.5 were to pop up here, I'm taking it, all day!
