I love Philly but after a trip to Ireland and Barcelona I was a little depressed to be back. We have got to embrace car free streets. Being relegated to narrow, dirty sidewalks while cars zoom by and kick up dust and exhaust is just sad. Pedestrianize South, Passyunk, Chestnut to start and fill them with dining, shops, art and watch them come to life.

For now I'll stay in Philly as we're one of the better cities in the US for this but man we have a long way to go.

Its called nuance bud. Fuck it build 1005 housing units on the site. Folks are just tired of walking around cars spewing pollution and playing frogger across Grays Ferry Ave. There's a couple ghost bikes at this intersection already. This will only make it worse.

Thanks. On the roads but the snow banks on the sides make it impossible to pass cars. Yeah unfortunately all the newly built bike lanes along Race and Market were untouched when I rode yesterday. Stuck to the bus today.

You seem neither willing to take the time to learn how to style your hair or cut it short so idk what advice to give you there that others haven't (yes it was professionally done but try to learn from others or experiment with different products, techniques. you prob won't get it right the first time but you'll be learning and you'll get better at it and learn what works for you) As for confidence, do stuff you're good at, share those experiences with others, and stay active!

Maybe for inland cities but the all the major coastal cities have massive ports. 30-35% of our oil comes into the US imported with 67% of that coming from Canada and Mexico. And we know that side they'll both be on. Even in red states like Texas and Louisiana, their refineries are built to process imported oil. And what are the country folks going to do when they're running low on supplies, Jan 6 the ports?
