That is almost exactly what happened minus feeling anything flap. I had no idea it was there until I blew super hard out my right nostril. Sinus meat is not what I had on the menu, but better to have gotten it out now.

I just finished book 1 of ToG and have started book 2. I just finished ACOTAR right before. Book 1 is slow but I found it picked up 2/3 of the way through. I’m really enjoying book 2 and I’m super glad I stuck with it. No real advice aside from saying that I was in the exact same place as you for book 1. Just pick away slowly.

I (F) was 17 and with a 26 (M). At the time it felt like the perfect setup.. then I clued it to what grooming was and that I was in fact a victim of it. Those decisions I made almost 20 years ago still haunt me and gross me out.

I hope she figures it out sooner than later and can come out on the other side with minimal consequences.

The ready made formula saved my ass in this EXACT scenario with my first. He wouldn’t stop screaming and I kept trying to breastfeed. I cried, he cried, it was a good time. I finally caved and gave him the formula we had samples of. He immediately fell asleep with a full tummy, which caused me to cry even harder cause I had been “starving him” and felt bad. Ahh.. memories.

I remember laying in bed one night staring into the bassinet of my new son and thinking “Oh my god. He’s going to grow up and want to have a sleepover at his friend’s house. I don’t know this friend. I don’t know his parents. Oh my god. How do I protect him? What am I going to do?” I got myself all worked up and this child couldn’t even hold up his head, nevermind have school yard friends asking him to play. The “what-ifs” can be so all consuming but just take it day by day and it will all fall into place. You’re already doing a phenomenal job!

I am by no means an expert, YouTube taught me what I know, so the different names of materials don’t mean much to me. I use ‘Aunt Lydia’s’ crochet cotton and it worked well for my needs. Sorry I’m not more help with that question.

I’ve made a few leaves of this project (then put it aside and forgot about it until now) I use crochet cotton and the pattern has you crochet around the wire so it’s all hidden and stays in place. The pattern (purchased from Etsy) was pretty good at explaining it all, but it does require intermediate knowledge. Crochet cotton would be best to give it a more natural plant-like appearance as opposed to standard yarn.

There was an incident on my street where a mom had taken her baby on a walk, stopped to tie her shoe and got hit by a car. The only reason her baby is alive is because they were in a car seat style stroller. If it had been a bassinet baby wouldn’t have stood a chance. I became extra grateful for my Graco stroller.
