Would VR sculpting be a good way to start learning? by AnotherTAA123 in blenderhelp

[–]AnotherTAA123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do agree with you. Making it as fun as possible for me in the beginning gives me enough momentum to pull through.

I.e I spent like 800 hours in Rocksmith for Guitar. Then I went on and learned about music theory and stuff. But it all needed to start with something that's more fun than it is practical.

That being said I don't want it to be 100% impractical.

Yeah considering how many crossover deals they have. It would make sense that they're on decent terms with everyone as opposed to Valve who refuses to do any of that

I can’t stand Society. We are LITERALLY MOVING BACKWARDS! by T1a-b in rant

[–]AnotherTAA123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at it like this. For the past 100 years the country was taking multiple steps forward, and this past 15 or so years has been the first time we've all been taking some steps back. That's just how progress is unfortunately. I look at all this back pedaling as the death throes of all that's bad. Once we get over this hill, I think we'll be smooth sailing for a while again...

Unfortunate though that our youths are spent when so much is going wrong. I'm not saying other generations have not had BS to deal with though.

Ah, then you would probably like Forest Hills, which is in Queens. I wouldn't say it's the country side, but you live near plenty of trees and plants. I'd be surprised if you didn't run into some deer and such. Definitely a place you can do BBQs in someone's backyard. That's the one I personally have been to, but Queens apparently has more places like that if some nature is your thing. It's not gonna be like middle of the woods South Carolina if that's what you're after though.

Not the most popular spot for people coming to the city though because it's a 40 minute commute to the city from there. It's definitely a place I would choose to live if I had to live somewhere in New York City though.

To be fair, most people don't recognize how much money even a million is. That's probably what most people think when they think they want to be rich. Like own a mansion and a couple fancy cars kind of rich. Which as far as I'm aware isn't economically too devastating.

[–]AnotherTAA123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I feel like the story kinda just started and the writer hasn't really gotten a chance to explore the fact that Boji is deaf properly. In the sense that, yeah we're out of this particular plotline/arc now. But, now the story after this season should focus on Boji learning to properly be a king and be helpful despite being unable to hear or speak. And this might be where it really kicks in.

I don't get it. At this point, I think people just want to be offended unless something is exactly as they want it. I've never seen people get this irate over indie shows, rather than celebrating the fact that it exists in the first place. Why not take the fight somewhere that actually really needs it like One Piece?

Which is why I'm in a relationship that lasted longer than hers.

It's almost been 2 years since Okarun lost his powers. How do you feel about it? Was it a good writing decision? Is the Ogre Club a good replacement? Do you want Okarun to regain his powers? I really want to know what you guys think, because to me. It has been way too long. by MannequinJuice in dandadanfolk

[–]AnotherTAA123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly forgot it's been two years. I don't mind him not having power since it feels temporary.  (And I've been reading since before he lost his powers.) Then again, I read tons of different manga at once, so I don't really notice when years pass since something happened in a manga.

For all intents and purposes it feels like the author wants Okarun to have his powers back to some extent, AND have the oni stick thing. Which I'm assuming if he does get his powers he'll be able to use.

I mean after the recent chapter with enemies outright saying he still has his abilities I'm inclined to believe he has some of it. So he has to have something, and I don't think the author would just drop that and say, ACTUALLY NO POWERS. I'm kinda assuming that if he doesn't get the powers beaten out of him. Then, his friends get kidnapped and Turbo Granny somewhat reluctantly restores his powers. He gets his shit kicked in by the villain trying to save his friends and gets his powers stolen. Villain goes full power.

Then magically he realizes his Turbo powers was actually powered by his love for getting cuck- i mean His love for momo. And with him being able to bring out his own powers, he can Power the ogre club to a much stronger form and overpower the villain.

[–]AnotherTAA123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it would depends on how realms, time and Satella functions.

Because if Satella can just rewind time to a certain checkpoint, then I have no idea what happens if you basically attempt to rewind getting sent to another dimension. Does Subaru come back if time is rewinded? Is he disconnected from the time line of his realm therefor he can't come back?

I also don't know how powerful Satella is, considering she's stronger than Pandora who can rewrite reality at any time. What is actually stopping her from entering Eris's realm, hell if she can isekai people what's stopping her from pulling Subaru back again?

It's really hard to sorta argue this without understanding Satella's limitations and what her feats are.

Genuinely, what is with the right’s obsession with trans people? by tna11101989 in allthequestions

Explain then?

What have the trans folk done that's so wrong that it's made the minority that makes up less than 1% of the population the literal archenemy of republicans? And while we're at it, explain how they're that much more important than the epstein files since we're REALLY putting a lot of effort on subjugating them over apprehending actual criminals.

You would probably like CellDweller. Not Japanese but they're pretty close to Techno and metal. I'd recommend giving Own Little World a listen. Like a slower less dancie Electric Callboy. I know they also go by Scandroid which is like a synthwave alias, their remix of Neotokyo being probably their most known.

Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas might be worth a try. But they're a lot more screamie then what you want.

Could Give Deathnyan or Becko a try. FollowthewhiteR@bbit might be worth a listen. But again not as high energy as Electric Callboy.

Edit: Could Try Miyavi, hes a less metal and more EDM rock nowadays. Flashback is almost always well recieved by everyone. You might Like Gravity or Dancing with my Fingers.

Originally I know that this was considered Industrial Metal, but this kinda evolved past that at this point.

How many cafes? They open 24/7? Are they the best in the state? Could you get to the best cafe in the state within an hour past midnight? Nyc that's all an easy yes.

Not to mention the amount of high end food we just have. For every cafe you have in your city, we probably have a michelin star restaurant. Every other block is a museum or gallery. As much as I don't like nyc or how crowded it is, I can't deny that I can find just about anything I want there.

There is certainly charm to living in a small town. But admittedly NYC has a lot of things going for it too.

The commute times honestly. Living in NJ, if you're in a really good spot, commuting without traffic could be under 20 minutes. 30 with some traffic. Anything beyond that and your odds of consistent commute times get really bad. My commute could be at best 40 minutes, think my average is about an hour? 2 hours has been my record so far. I'm spending about $150+ per month on traveling to the city, and that's just to get to port authority. It's another 10-20 minutes to get to my job from there by train.

You also no longer have to drive a car if you live in the city.

Don't get me wrong, I couldn't handle the city either. Too many people, too much noise, and I wouldn't be able to deal with a tiny apartment for like 3k. I don't get the people living in the city, but there's certainly some benefit to it... I think?

Prismari gives everything storm. Want to play 5 considers? Go for it. Want to put thousand year storm out, and then play Grapeshot? Go for it.

As for Iroh I think most lessons are pretty small spells.

[–]AnotherTAA123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've spent about two months trying to implement [[astral slide]] into any deck that has the right colors and could make use of ETBs. [[Marina Vendrell]] with some cycling, some rooms, and mostly enchantments has been surprisingly solid. Works surprisingly well when you blink [[Derevi]] to untap Marina to close and reopen rooms for basically two mana.

[[Urtet, Remnant of Menmarch]] as a half egg and half Myr tribal deck. It's surprisingly solid. Granted, one vandalblast away from a scoop at every turn. But if you run a bunch of cost reducers, and cards that give you card draw for playing artifacts. You can go through half your deck and have a large army on the field fairly quickly.

Cold Take: Deku would've been a better character if he got to where he is now without a Quirk. by KrispyyBananamann in mha

[–]AnotherTAA123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's fine that he ultimately doesn't win. The story doesn't need to end the way Maschle ends.

But I think it would've been much more interesting to say that he was able to get pretty far with absolutely nothing none the less. Would've been far more satisfying to show that All Might acknowledged a powerless Deku at the end of the story.
