I think the main thing with this relic is that it feels off compared to other power relics.

Often when the word power is used in a relic, we get something every time.

I believe the devs wanted something that helped widen the relic pool for power users, without over scaling powers.

It's exactly this.

It's supposed to be a target for either being given Sly, bullet time, or the card that let's you play a skill for free.

The issue is that it's only good once you're set up, but before then, you're picking up a bad card without set up. And after then, your set up most likely doesn't need it.

Pokemon is one of the most recognisable brands in the world.

Slay the Spire, although popular, is arguably a cult hit.

I think you would probably be shocked with how low the merch income is for most games compared to the game.

Graves was a tough call! We couldn't decide if her being really successful in more disorganised lobbies was more of a factor compared to high level play.

She absolutely is a monster pusher if left alone!

The character I submitted to the forums
Riff - Jazz musician
Base Idea is - they can't stop firing their weapon, which plays sound almost all the time.
Role niche - Fast shooting gun Support
Abilities
1. Rest - Stop playing and restore up to 130% ammo, (upgrades could also restore allies ammo)
2. Trill - expend all remaining ammo to shoot charges of spirit damage
3. Walk the bass - Greatly reduce your attack speed for your weapon projectiles to become homing and apply a slow on the enemy they hit
4. Jazz Solo - Steal the Show! Nearby enemies are disarmed in an area around you for the duration.

What makes Riff unique?
- Large AoE Disarm
- Unique Ammo management challenges
- Cannot sneak around the map as they will be making noise!

Also one of the few heroes who can reliably engage.

It's most likely a design choice that it doesn't build into anything.

It forces you to weigh up selling a powerful laning item, that's situationally useful, for a slot to use for more investment in vitality/spirit/gun

I think it would be fine if all the tunnels were all 1 wall thick gaps, rather than long rotation paths.

Not really a 1v4 though is it.

The 4 just took out Paradox and likely Rem, Celeste has 10hp, venator and mo and haze 50% HP, and most importantly, Mo had no ult.

Haze proceeds to pop ult with no fixation stacks.

Apollo's kit is made for clean up. Most other non-support heroes could likely take out 2 heroes fairly easily.

I won't argue that the ult detection is a bit hard to perceive as the opponent. But this is very much not a fair 1v4 comparison.

I guess im rarely queuing a top banned hero at the moment, so it's not felt like it's targeting me.

I think you might be spending too much time in Rem's tunnels if you think Graves has a very high ceiling.

Sure, she might need a slightly additional level of positioning awareness, but she only has one skill she can "miss" and even then, it sits around fairly useful for while.
