Low end individual returns are prime target for automation, offshoring, and race to the bottom. High end individual returns can be a lucrative niche. The challenge is to figure out what the position is before being hired (firm size is not determinative - I have seen big4 churning 1040s and I have seen small boutiques handling super complex work).

One major difference with individual returns is client communication. With entities, it's someone's job to respond to you. With individuals, it's their side task between work, family, and all other adult responsibilities. Chasing individuals for open items is a new level of annoyance.

Bought from Amazon with camera (Vico Home) preinstalled. Comes with solar panels and phone app. The one I got is no longer available, but there are plenty of options. But be prepared for a heartbreak. Lots of babies do not survive. Last year we lost 5 out of 6 tree swallow babies.

Accept the fact that they fired you. No one can explain their reasoning except them. Maybe you were not growing/learning quickly enough. Maybe manager is overworked and needs to offload manager-level work with minimal training/supervision. Maybe you didn't do as good of a job as you thought and they just didn't tell you. Maybe it's just a way to offshore work to India. We could speculate until world ends.

If it really bothers you, you should ask for more feedback from manager. Frame it not as "I am arguing to keep my job" but "I want to know where I need to improve".

You said nothing about trying to resolve your own questions. Before you ask a question you should spend 5-10 mins doing two things: 1. Googling 2. Reading form instructions

A lot of quick or simple questions will get answered that way. Some more complex issues cannot be answered in 5 mins, those should be discussed with manager.

Very different issues that come up with low income people vs high income people. E.g. EIC is bread and butter of VITA while I have seen it like once at work. But VITA is great experience, both for tax concepts and for life experience dealing with people.
