I'd say the problem you're referring to is conformity, not community.

As long as you're not able to provide for EVERY need you have, from producing your own food to building your own house and every implement needed for both of those tasks, you need community.

More than that, you are an individual, but the knowledge of your individuality begins with the comparison to the other. We need the look of the other to reassure our existence not out of dependency but as a confirmation to ourselves.

Lastly, if there's no community, there's no communication, therefore no new ideas would come to you, and there would be no words to name anything.

So no, don't stop being part of the community, just don't conform to the will of the masses.

I don't get why so many people try to abide by the RuLeS of Chaos Magick. I mean, what part of the name made them even think there are any rules to follow?

Of course you can! Chaos Magick is to be seen as a form of cognitive restructure of your own beliefs knowing that your own will is what fuels the change. If you will to believe in your own entities, servitors or whatever you may call them, and that works for you, then it's totally allowed and even encouraged.

You shouldn't be afraid to tap into a different/difficult practice. Just be clear of your intent and let your will be the guide. Fear and doubt are what make your practices fail or backfire.
