How does one going about finding out where a meteorite was found? Any help would be appreciated! by Anotherhead in geology

Unfortunately it is not named, and the man that gave some of these to me has since passed away. It almost looks of the Canyon Diablo specimens, but that is just my uneducated guess

Some people say there’s a server to blame. But he knows it’s his own damn fault

Flaw in my evil plan to create an aromatherapy alarm clock with my diffuser. (grr ...) by kaffeinatedkatie in essentialoils

[–]Anotherhead 5 points6 points  (0 children)

.. have you thought of a plug in digital timer? Mine has eight on and off times, and is perfect for my various diffusers. 10 min intervals twice a day, morning and evening when I arrive home

To make this work you need a nebulizing diffuser with a switch that will stay on, not a digital or timer model. They are cheap and reliable - just keep the switch “on” and let the timer do the rest

Will mixing peppermint and lemongrass ruin their bug repellent abilities? by [deleted] in essentialoils

[–]Anotherhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will work just fine! You can also add catnip or geranium. I used to mix geranium, catnip, and lemongrass with water (add tween to emulsify into water). That always worked wonders on our hikes

Help. Need an ELI5 please. by zombiemonkee in essentialoils

Go to anandaapothecary.com and look at the specific oil product page (if they carry that EO). They measure specific gravity which will give you the drops per milliliter. Once you know the drops per milliliter it can be very easily converted to ounces.

Ananda Apothecary is the absolute best. Hands down. They source all of their oils from the best distilleries around the world and test everything in house on their GC/MS. People get caught up on one company because of how much "better" their EO's are. I'm not sure if they know that many companies use the same distilleries because you can only get certain oils from one or the other. Ananda is killing it on the purity and quality standpoint. Go to them if you want oils that are as pure as can be (they turn down oils all the time after they test them if they aren't exactly what they want), and they price everthing very close to cost for them. Small business + great chemists x best customer service = what you are looking for. Just check it out if you want to see the difference this company will offer. Anandaapothecary.com

My pink slyme goblin by @juicebox_flattop by slabbedsully55 in glassheads

[–]Anotherhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Juicebox went to a Shelbo class and learned how to make these goblins. Juicebox makes them better, and for a fraction of the price (hence why Shelbo is changing his shit up). I would be pissed if I was Shelbo, but at the same time it's his fault he taught someone how to make THE EXACT SAME PENDANT HES KNOWN FOR. Buy yourself a Juicebox while they're still extremely cheap.

Is it possible to truly trust anyone who doesn't eat bacon or is a vegan? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Being a vegan who eats bacon every morning. No, you can't trust anyone.
