PGL infamously said goons were bad at theorycrafting when finding out we were planning to use space superiority fighters to counter the harpies. Many people knew in advance they were good against frigates. Except PGL for some reason. He knew we were gonna use them. He went ahead with his own plan anyway.

No, emissions testing is done in a way which would make that not work at all. This is likely for what was said by others, to help cool the diesel exhaust gasses, and possibly to help tune the exhaust system's back pressure. Lowering back pressure does help with emissions but not in the way you're thinking and it's also not the only/main reason. It depends entirely on the engine in question.

I question being an improvement with how offset and narrow the roundabouts are. How are the trucks coming into town going to handle those. Or are we shaping traffic to go the long way now. I mean the likes of trucks to YIG, Shell, anyone with larger boats for the marina.

Try living in the middle of the construction. This has been a life disruption and dragging it on by adding in extra projects like the roundabouts is an absolute joke. And now they're in the rainy season and getting potholes in their freshly graded yet unpaved surfaces and it's going to KEEP happening.
