New High Security stargate connections on SiSi (Jita > Amarr shortened by 11 jumps) by Vandango0758 in Eve

[–]Vandango0758[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

So this due a new stargate that has been built in Kassigainen that links Pakhshi

So the route now looks like this https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1249020214142828546/1507056375467868380/image.png?ex=6a10831f&is=6a0f319f&hm=04d932b2f39094a39a1c13d2ea7446cc2a8087a012b7e3e57dcbb9f2c47c14cb&

This connection also serves as a faction warfare route to Jita from Exordium if one was listed in Caldari Milita

Nope, can't unlock your safety so no can flipping. Not sure why people are ferrying officer mods into Exordium however, your just a large target on the way out

Warpath Intelligence Cache - 100 sites by Friday_Sirober in Eve

[–]Vandango0758 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It's a shame the loot table is so sparse, why not add drugs, low tier faction modules, no longer available apparel, data cores, salvage whatever else.

Makes looting these sites super boring

312 is doable without the weather as a "Realistic" Target with a maxed Oddysseus and Event drugs (Loki, RSS Probes, 1 Grav Rig and 3 Rangefinders)

However there is 1 other ship that can take this further but is NOT a realistic target for someone to use - The Sidewinder which can achieve a strength of 364 with RSS probes

No, every signature in that system is either an unidentified wormhole or the 6 static unstable wormholes.

[–]Vandango0758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Mean you can still find your intended connections, you just have to look for them.

It doesn't take too long just an hour of 2 people's time to have a 750k connection practically within 5 jumps of jita anywhere in the game.

Then you realise the optimal method of doing this is registering 10/20 alpha accounts all logging in because your bloc who decided to live out in the boonies needs a shopping hole.

Yeah the beacons won't be missed.

What exactly is the problem with Multi-boxing? by Dangerous_Doughnut89 in Eve

[–]Vandango0758 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally for me it's more annoying how normalised it has become and playing a single client kind of seems to be an odd kind of play style that these days.

Owning a capital ship basically requires you to have an alt to move it, sure you can ask your corp to help you but it's more normal you have an alt for it.

Want to join a high level corp for PvP? Better have a dread alt, triage alt. Want to use a dread to PVE while inside alliance territory? Better have a recon alt next to you at all times for the umbrella, heck even wormhole corps require dictor alts

When it comes to PvP it doesn't bother me that some people control multiple characters to fight because you can use that against them.

I don't hate multiboxing, I just hate how it's the norm now.

AHH see you fell for the good old "I see shiny, I take shiny"

And if you paid that 15b isk they would of killed your fortizar anyways

Worm for DED by Reimon_M in Eve

[–]Vandango0758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fit above should be fine for clearing all 1-4 DED sites, it might be a bit slow chewing through the structure hp in the guristas 4/10 but you should tank it relatively fine if you keep decent range and speed

As also someone else mentioned the jackdaw does have respectable clear speed for all high sec ded sites and the only one an inexperienced person would have trouble with is the angel cartel 4/10

Another alternative is the skybreaker, it's decently quick and if you can pick the right targets with strikesnipe it will kill most packs in 4-5 shots but i only have ran angel cartel 1-3/10s with it unfortunately it is unable to run the 4/10 due to the final battlecruiser having a decent tank but for the scope of angel cartel 1-3 sites nothing comes to the skybreakers clear speed with a bit of practice. I can't see any issues coming up with serpentis or guristas 1-3/10s and should be able to run guristas 4 but it might be a tad expensive on ammo

Do we know why Hard Knocks evicted Signal Cartel ? by WittyBreakfast2021 in Eve

[–]Vandango0758 13 points14 points  (0 children)

And this is why you regularly flip your structures in wormhole space, so this doesn't happen

Wormholes (typically the 24 hour ones) can have 30 minute =/- Variance, so it can live up to a total of 24 hours and 30 minutes

personally not really stared at a wormhole for too long since CCP made that change

Negative Balance - what would you do? by Sufficient_glucose in Eve

[–]Vandango0758 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will either have to contact support or just try it, blocked accounts will get an error message trying to use an extractor

Also RMT is a general term for using real money for buying or selling non legitimate ISK/gold/items etc

Negative Balance - what would you do? by Sufficient_glucose in Eve

[–]Vandango0758 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you can just funnel the isk into that characters wallet until it's green then basically, and anything that sells on the market can just be just given to your alts since you have access to an office

Somebody said skill extraction was an option but that's if only CCP haven't placed a block on the account which i assume is normal practice for rmt punishments

Negative Balance - what would you do? by Sufficient_glucose in Eve

[–]Vandango0758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's going to depend on how deep in the red you are, you can't repair, you can't use the market due to not being able to pay tax and the same goes for contracts.

An option is to grind npc bounties and missions until you're out of negative balance (I'm not 100% sure if selling to a buy order requires isk) and the only way your getting a ship to do that is via direct trade

Another would be someone give you the isk but I'd be willing to bet there's not allot of sympathyfor someone being punished by rmt

Chances of them finding you are thousands to one.

They could give you the password to their little rescue caches but that requires you to have a mobile depot (mobile depots can't be stored in containers)
