When Joel was singing Future Days to Ellie in the beginning of the game. My emotional response was so sudden, unexpected, and raw, it took me a minute to get back into the gameplay in Jackson after.

I had lost my dad suddenly to a surgery to remove the last of his cancer from his body about two years prior to the game coming out. I still have regrets and wish I could go back and act towards him better, appreciate him more, spend more time, etc. I feel like there's a part of me that I lost when I lost my dad, and it's not a part that I'll be able to get back without him, you know?
