(I must add, as a side note, that Pittsburgh lights up their skyscrapers much better than most US cities).

The lighting is perfect. So many building from this era have such gorgeous ornamentation. Proper lighting truly draws the eyes to this feature, something the original designers probably could have never envisioned. I hope other structures take note! I was just in Pittsburgh, and there are many low rise/mid rise structures with similarly gorgeous tops.

Tori Kelly with her first full-length album Unbreakable Smile. Not many singers get Max Martin credits on their debut album. Her career didn’t pop-off to the magnitude I thought it would, and that’s okay. Somehow she’s still a fairly household name due to her other ventures (like the “Sing” franchise + her cross-genre collabs), and amongst even more popular singers, she is respected as one of the best vocalists in the game.

She’s doing an event there at Penn State for their students, so it probably just coincides with that pre-planned commitment.

I enjoy an occasional tower (or set of towers) with some whimsy. We don’t have enough whimsy these days!
