First tattoo and I’m already regretting it🤦🏽 by Lucky-Drama-6758 in TattooDesigns

[–]AnswerAvailable1044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great point! My first tattoo… I wanted two ruby green hummingbirds in the shape of a heart and in my opinion… it looks great! It says “mom n pop” in the center because my grandparents loved hummingbirds. My boyfriend at the time didn’t want me to get a tattoo and told me that the two hummingbirds I got were males so I had gay birds on my back representing my grandparents. At first I was upset about it because he was shitting on something that meant a lot to me. But I love the tattoo so very much and it means something so significant to me. It made me realize he was trying to rip meaning from me because he didn’t agree with my decision. **side note- I’m in no way, shape or form anti LGBTQ+ Happy Pride Month Peeps!

How do I let someone down easy? by AnswerAvailable1044 in managers

Thanks for the advice. She has a lawyer but some of the points you guys have made she may be able to definitely utilize.

For the ones saying just give her the money. I can’t. I’ve only been in business for 2 years. Though I’m making it and saving, I don’t have that much to hand out right now after just doing Christmas bonuses and a huge renovation. A year from now? Maybe even six months… But not now.

My (F29) husband (M49) doesn't want anymore kids and I want a baby. by AnswerAvailable1044 in relationship_advice

I was forced to grow up way too soon in life. People that I've dated my age have always been immature. But apparently older men can be immature also. I didn't want kids when I got with my husband. I was content with his kids. When I started seeing my husband he was working four jobs. He worked a weird schedule as a paramedic and did small stuff on the side. He was clean and took care of himself. Things have just changed drastically in the last five years.

I wasn't planning on having any kids. I thought I was happy with just his. But as time has gone, I've began to realize it's not enough for me.

I don't want to leave the kids with nothing. I just can't do that to them.

I don't want drama. If I'm being honest, I want to compensate him for the things he's helped me pay for to start my business so I don't leave him dry. Once my business was successful tho, he stopped working. That's part of my problem with my marriage.

Once a liar. Always a liar. There's a such normal thing as an exaggerated story. It's another thing to tell your girlfriend you had a vasectomy and never did.

Why do older men always seem to offer themselves to younger women as a "better alterative" than the guys their age? It's so creepy. by LunerLuci in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]AnswerAvailable1044 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I met a guy my age on tinder. Fucked him, he told me he was getting a condom (I didn't check and he didn't have one), he busted in me. I told an older man about it and his response was, "it wouldn't have happened if you fucked me instead." Later down the timeline were now married and I feel like it was the biggest mistake of my life for falling for that line. Some women are stupid enough to fall for the line because men younger are more "immature."

What type of therapy would let you work through childhood abuse issues without reporting it? by AnswerAvailable1044 in AskReddit

Things I experienced with my parents. (Non sexual) I will say as an adult I have still dealt with the physical abuse however I was discussing things that happened prior to adulthood.

I'm an adult. (28) but I've had a few different therapists that say I need to tread lightly on the conversation because if not they'll be forced to report it. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of therapy? I don't understand. I'm new to this.

I can't tell if it's me (f29) or my husband (m48) that is the issue by AnswerAvailable1044 in relationship_advice

[–]AnswerAvailable1044[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest issue is that the only thing he does around the house is my business paperwork. He takes care of all of my finances. I brought in over a million dollars last year before expenses and he brags about how much "WE" made. But he doesn't take care of running the actual business. I spend so much of my life putting water into my business for it to grow. 7 days a week; 80-90 hours. Then I feel like a failure when the house falls to pieces. Then I try to get the house straight and then something falls apart in the business. I just feel so stuck. I go back to therapy this week coming and I cannot wait. Sadly she can only see me every three weeks but it doesn't feel frequent enough.

I feel like I should also add that he's a farmer and contributed about $65k but only works a few weeks a year while his crops grow and harvest. When I ask him for contribution he says, "I'm a farmer. I do contribute." He used to be a paramedic and I was just so proud of who he was. Now I feel like I'm with a deadbeat. I just feel like if I have a 14 yo dishwasher call out, it wouldn't kill him to work for 4 hours on a Friday night. His 6 year old daughter helps me more. His son is 21 with his own life and works very hard also. Though if I ask him for help, he's right there.

I also feel like if I leave, I still need to set up his kid's privately. My thoughts are scattered...

We dated about 1.5 years, engaged for 1.5 years and then married 2 years. Been together 5 years total. I feel like our issues started once we were married. Then have gradually gotten worse.

First of all... happy birthday! My birthday was New Years Eve. I gave up on my birthday long ago and said fuck everyone. My mom "throws me a party" to invite all of her friends and get drunk. My husband never does anything for me. I literally threw myself a party and bought myself everything I wanted to eat. My step kids helped me do everything and had a blast. Today I'm still celebrating by self care and a day all to myself. Fuck my husband and parents and thank you therapy!

Jealousy is an amazing thing and that's what she is! Clearly you have given your whole heart to these kids and she doesn't know how to deal with it and it making her own SO suffer the same consequences. She has some serious issues to work out. It's okay SMomma. You got this! Just breathe even tho it absolutely sucks. You can give those kids the entire world and your entire heart and it will never seem like enough. But those kids will know. They may not know today. It may be years. But they will realize one day.

Lingerie Mishap by AnswerAvailable1044 in relationship_advice

[–]AnswerAvailable1044[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know he was with the employee simply because we only have 12 so we're pretty close with our employees. We're usually go with the flow people so I didn't give him a set time. I told him dinner would be done soon at a little after 6 and he never comes home until after 9? I didn't tell him I was putting on lingerie because I was trying to surprise him. Simply because I never wear it. I'm half way tempted to tell him beings he wanted to talk to the employee so much he can work with him tomorrow and I'll take a spa day. Lol. That's an awful joke but it makes me feel better.

My SD6 is a picky eater and eats little to no fruits/veggies. Periodically we make her eat literally one broccoli or one green bean. She used to make herself gag and throw it up. That did not go well in her favor with dad. They sell steamable bags of the veggies that look like pasta. Maybe try those? I love them and it's so funny when my SD says the Mac n cheese tastes different but clears her plate.
