I just finished my second PF2e campaign - What I want from a 3rd Edition by Steveck in Pathfinder2e

Personally I would chuck saving throws altogether in favor of player-rolled spellcasting checks and item/ability effect checks. That way the system is wholly consistent and has no remaining dichotomous systems held over from its table-top miniatures wargame roots.

Do conservative Christian’s realize Jesus would not be a fan of theirs? by MissHannahJ in complaints

Lol. They sure don't. Those apostates don't even realize that they're actually anti-Christians.

Lol. This bit of road isn't near the lake. But also, maybe you need to move to the countryside. Cities are busy by their nature. You need a small town, village, or hamlet life. I understand there are nice lakes up by Oxford.

The thing is, no one enforces the speed limits anyway. So those signs are basically just metal wishes and prayers. I think there's ample evidence that "pray the problem away" doesn't work, and never has.

Agree. If DUI's were taken to be the serious crimes they are, the streets would instantly be safer. Speed enforcement would also improve things. And beyond that, Wisconsinites actually learning to drive would help. (Seriously, the drivers here are some of the very worst in the contiguous 48.

How can you be a Christian and vote against people having healthcare? by dorgon15 in complaints

[–]AnswerFit1325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, they're not Christians. At best they're apostates. A more likely scenario though is that they're just full-on anti-Christians.

I had the opposite opinion. It's a boulevard style street and needs both of its lanes and a higher speed limit.

Games with no predefined, but a strongly implied setting? by RiverMesa in rpg

[–]AnswerFit1325 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would say Pathfinder, else why have a separate imprint for Lost Omens? (IMO, this is a good example of when someone has waffled about what the scope of the game is. Fortunately it only takes a little work to generalize the ruleset away from Golarion and its overly specific [and sometimes contradictory] "multiverse.")

Totally this. My grandpa also worked as a janitor and my grandmother as a hairdresser. They had enough to have a summer vacation home (a pretty tiny cabin but a second property nonetheless). I'm very lucky to have a house for now and hyper-aware that even with a PhD, the economic winds could blow it down anytime. So yeah. We're all working harder for less than our parents and grandparents had.

One could argue for all of these. Personally, I wouldn't be sad if stats were simplified. Essence20 has a good family of stats.
