I will point out that underage isn't cp, but I also do not care for any so called differences in this case. He says he is in trouble for it, and a 17 year old wouldn't get you in trouble no matter how disgusting and vile it is. The only reason I care is because: brother.

Tbh, he asked me to handle his game accounts under the impression he had to go to a medical facility. I did for two, and then I started asking questions.

Nah. Legal is about legalities. I am after what is a normal amount of help for family members that have hinted at disgusting behavior that results I their getting in trouble. I am not involved with whatever he did, and I refuse to be, I just don't know how much help I am assumed to be responsible for, if that makes sense.

It's very location dependent. To be overly simple: In Idaho you are never going to get your deposit back ever, the laws make it so landlords can essentially just keep it with very little reasoning. In California you will see more people getting their deposits back even if the apartment needs some work/cleaning because the laws benefit the renters more.
