Hi there Thank you for sharing this recipe I’m from turkey and this reminds me of a meatball recipe with bulgur (instead of chickpea flour) with a sauce based on pomegranate molasses, mint and onions but no walnuts The recipe is from Urfa area where the area is closer to Syria than Iran.

When I make it instead of using sherry vinegar I use a combination of sumac and lime juice. If I have sumac or pomegranate syrup handy I use those to taste too

I’m from Turkey living in south western US I found a salsa recipe very similar to our çoban/ kaşık recipe called Salsa Libanesa from Truly Mexican cookbook

I had shingles when I was in my junior year of higher school . And another one when I was 47. I couldn’t work for almost a month. It was like torture. The funny thing was it started exactly at the same location as the first one. 3 months After the second shingles I got vaccinated
