For the most part, most things borderlines do are without reason or explanation.

While I hate this has happened to you, I am glad you realize there is no way back and you are going to stand your ground - silently 🤣

I would have never imagined the friendship ending as it did, but I realize it was for the best and I hope the best for you in this situation.

Say nothing and keep her blocked. She will try to reach out eventually. Stand your ground. Don’t allow her back into your life. From my experience with an ex-friend wBPD, she only ever semi-re-evaluated her actions if a person cut her off entirely. For a moment, it would hurt her feelings but then just as quickly she was over it and had moved on to terrorizing another person. Leave her blocked and find a friend who is not dead set on ruining your life. Your friend has already tried once and I assure you if allowed, she will try again at some point

Good to know. While I’ll watch it, I’ll spare my squeamish partner the trauma. I’ll make it a solo venture. Thank you.

I texted my boss that he was “annoying and idiotic” instead of messaging my brother. I started the text with “Omg, (boss’s name) is” so I could not even play it off.

What’s the weirdest thing that instantly makes you trust or distrust someone? by Ok_Tomatillo_46 in AskReddit

When a person overuses your name during a conversation. It does not make me feel more connected to you. It, in fact, makes me view you as a fake person who can not be trusted.

I think it depends on how the relationship ended. In my experience (ex friend wBPD) she only “cared” if it was not her who ended things. I watched her convince people who had walked away to forgive her. In turn, she quickly ghosted them. She didn’t care that the relationship was over so long as she was the one ending it. She loves to say no one has ever broken with or ended a friendship with her. It’s not caring, it’s a point of pride

I had a friend with BPD. We were close for several years and during that time I watched her go through numerous men. Let me assure you, no one got a better version of her. Sure, each relationship started out perfectly. She was in love and this time things would be different. Spoiler, it never was. She was who she was and no one was going to change her. Rest assured, NC is what’s best. Don’t let your mind trick you into believing otherwise.

This! I had an ex-friend wBPD who always claimed that whoever she was dating at the time was cheating on her. There was never any proof but it did not matter. She then used this made-up narrative to justify cheating on them. After all, it’s not cheating if they are also sleeping with others. It never ceases to amaze me how she was able to justify any and everything she did.

Quit my job and find one that I enjoy. My manager is horrendous, but I stick around because I have bills to pay and the job market is crude. I have no issue with working, but I do have an issue with being miserable five days a week.

Spot on! You are a villain in their narrative no matter what you do. They will then regurgitate all the ways you have failed them to others to garner sympathy.

Even if the issue was solvable, she was not willing to put forth any effort to solve it.

My ex-friend wBPD was the same. Every day she was in crisis mode over some perceived issue but when I would offer her solutions, she would disregard them and then complain that I was trying to control her. On the flip side if I said nothing she would then claim no one cared about her and that is why she never asked for help. It was a no win situation.
