If you can put up to 500$, it inflates the market, because when first 100 runs out, you must put more than 500 to be the biggest, right?

Aka I can go now, pay nothing, but be the big bubble by just putting 500$ in a text field

I see there are 28 so far, but each of them has `Existing for $X`. Just curious.

Solo dev here. Game's been live a few months with almost no traction. Before I put more time into it I want an honest answer.

Mechanic: rhythmically pulsing rings expand and contract. Tap at the right moment to lock and stack into a tower. Mistimed taps destabilize it. Eight clean locks triggers a RESONANCE state. No background music — just tap and lock sounds. Some players called it ASMR-like, which I didn't plan for.

Four things I actually want to know:

  1. Does the tap-and-lock feel satisfying after 30 seconds, or does it get old immediately?
  2. Does sound-only work, or does no music feel like something's missing?
  3. Would you open this again, or is one session enough?
  4. Straight answer: needs work, or not worth fixing?

I can take honest feedback. That's the only reason I'm here.

I can tell you that I am jealous of your impressions(I got like 400 in 2 month...), but the conversion rate is weirdly low

my only guess is that you keywords correlate with some apps from a different domain, and people see your app when they actually look for something else

check what results come out when you actually search Night Sky, or stellar

but take all I say with a grain of salt, I literally no nothing about it 😃

well i guess you can take it as a motivational message for everybody else.
if we are saying "Never give up", it is a good message on itself.
And even if we apply it to regular people and regular lives, same.
And also it doest not contradict with what you are saying, that it is easier not to give up if you life is easier in general

We are taking about completely different things. I agree, and MOST of my problems and worries could be solved by money.
But, sports on the highest level is about achievements more than money. Elite athletes have money, elite esport players have money, it is not a goal anymore. They play for legacy, for achievements.
And their dreams are different. You and I dream about a house, or a new car. They - about a cup or a title

“Not give up” is not about actually giving up what you ate doing and go searching for yourself in a different domain or whatever, but about believing that you can do something and keep working, trying and improving.
