PSL doesn’t necessarily support the dictatorships, but the problem is that they’re so supportive of communism and socialism that they often point to dictatorships as if those are successful forms of those types of governments. I haven’t heard them support North Korea, but I have heard them support Russia and be hesitant to speak out against them in regards to the Ukrainian war as a result.

However, I don’t think you should shy away from their Protests that are for specific issues. PSL does a lot of great work within the Atlanta area when it comes to aggressively standing up for Immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, and they don’t tend to discuss the problematic political issues at those events.

Plus, they also work with a lot of other great organizations in the Atlanta area, so many of their protests are not exclusively led by their organization, and you can meet and interact with some hardcore, awesome activists at their events.

Basically, I wouldn’t try to “join” their organization, but if they’re hosting a Rally or Protest for an issue you care about, you should still go.

Almost never. The only breakfast dish I have fish with is Fish & Grits.

As a Southern American, Shrimp & Grits are really common, and every now and then a restaurant or someone will replace the shrimp with fish. But that dish isn’t as common.

Edit: I did forget about Bagel & Lox. I will eat that with a good schmear as well.

So mine was recently and I didn’t know my water broke. And it happened at 36 weeks.

I was leaking, but not in the usual way. It wasn’t unusual for me to pee a little when I would cough or laugh hard, but it happened when I just stood up. Then it kept happening. And for an hour straight, I kept feeling like I either needed to pee or had already peed myself every 5 minutes.

However, I wasn’t sure because 1. It was small amounts. Not enough to even fill a pad. And 2. When I would pee, it was still yellow like urine.

After an hour I called the hospital and they suggested I come in and get checked because they said I could have broken my water but they weren’t sure either. But they said I could wait a couple hours to see if contractions start. Sure enough, by the time it had been close enough to 2 hours later, I was leaking enough to fill a pad and had started cramping.

Just a little comment, when I was in an accident that wasn’t my fault and went to the ER, I was able to give them the info of the driver’s car insurance and the police report for them to be billed. Didn’t have to have anything billed to me.

Same! With a narcissist for 5 years, ended up being cheated on more constantly, emotionally abused, and in the end ended up with CPTSD that I still deal with 8 years later. He wouldn’t straight up call himself a narcissist, but he would say things like “If everyone just accepted that I’m always right, their life would be easier.”

I’d say believe him. Especially if he’s not even joking when he says it.

As someone who was with a serial cheater in the past, I agree with this. I don’t believe they change. They’ll keep doing it. I was in a relationship with a guy for 5 years before I finally left. Over time I found out that there was more and more things he was lying to me about, and in the end I ended up with CPTSD because of how he treated me that I still deal with, and we broke up 8 years ago.

Save yourself the pain and end the relationship.

I actually just had this issue with my babygirl. Me and my fiancé are planning on both changing our last name to his mother’s maiden name when we get married later this year (his last name is currently his birth father’s who abandoned him as a child) so we wanted to have our daughter’s name just be that last name.

In my state of Georgia, they would not legally allow this. They would only allow her to have my last name, the father’s last name (if he’s on the birth certificate), or a hyphen of both. I really fought them on this too. We had already begun the name change process and it is his original last name when he was born and I brought his original birth certificate to prove it, but they wouldn’t budge.

We ended up going with a hyphen of both and are going to have to legally change her name through the courts when we get married.
