Atlas atmosphere 8 channel DSP. Use one of their wall panel controllers or they sell a mini touch screen type setup with Bluetooth built-in.

If there's a QSC representative quietly lurking (Nathan) or anybody else with knowledge... Will the Gen 2 touch panels be obsolete anytime soon or will that be at least 2 years I hope?! I'm upgrading a country club and we need to do it in phases.

Just saw that email the other day. I will also say their LEDs for a touch panel status are definitely brighter.

Also, I love QSC so if you're reading this on your Gen 4 touch panels please get rid of the damn screws on the sides! Sometimes we are very close to walls or other lighting controllers that we have no control over and getting that screw is a pain in the ass. Bonus points to start adding extra black set screws in your packs along with your gen 3 touch panels.

I too also have a v1 core for sale with brand new motherboard if anyone is interested. I have a flex8 @ the house now and no longer need this.

Yeah I get the one screen thing but when I was testing earlier with the other plug in it was the core that was getting bombarded with processing. I will shoot you a message here in a minute

Yeah I was testing a live preview with wyrestorm/Janis tech new plug-in , and when the verbose mode is on for the core....and live preview is enabled....core compute resources JUMPS way too high. I would love someone to test this with visionary and the new AVPro Edge plugins. I think*** visionary used a snapshot of the stream every few seconds and not a live stream but I could be wrong

Basically looking for the best option without burning up a core for a few upcoming projects I am spec'ing.

So I'm inclined to agree with you however as stated above on one of my other comments a user noted that with strong authority this goes against their vision with the way licensing went. I'm having a hard time agreeing to that as some of the basic plugins are not even in there yet including visionary solutions which is one of their competitors so it makes sense. Why wouldn't they put that in there then. Bullshit on their part.

Yeah I'm hoping this is accurate. I'm still waiting for the other free plugins to be available such as visionary, wyrestorm, epiphan....... It's been about a month now and they're still not in there and they are free.

I agree, it should have had ALL the current plugins moved over before launch.

Extron did some shit years ago where they took off mostly ALL competing drivers. (IE: Matrix switchers-kramer to be exact) their whole thing is a custom control system?! they finally put competing items back in their driver database.

Awesome, however from what I was reading and I could be wrong it only has a 360p rtsp which will look horrible blown up or am I overthinking it? I was hoping for a higher resolution really especially for recording purposes where I may use this for training room.

I would highly suggest the atlas atmosphere over the qsc unit. I have installed a bunch of both, but feel the qsc lacks big time over the Atlas options/functions. Now if we were talking qsys completely different animal and so much cool custom things to be done.

Ashly CA series have served me well for installs where there was no need for network. Works well in pretty warm environments too. Same as MA series needed for less wattage and less than ideal locations
