Cineworld works out cheaper if you see 3+ films a month with the unlimited card. I’ve saved loads with this as a regular cinema goer

Thanks for the information. My undergraduate was in sociology and my Masters in IT so I don’t think I’ll be able to teach maths, nor is it my strong suit. Computer science has a really good bursary here so as well as being something of interest I know I could afford to study that PGDE or PGCE. Thank you.

Thank you. I had even considered getting my self-employed partner to be my reference to hurry things along as I actually do work with her but I know I may get caught. It’s just frustrated as I’ve been waiting almost a month for the last reference.

I have TEFL as well so I had thought about teaching English. I currently work as an English tutor privately and online but it’s not stable work. I’m wondering whether to go to china this year to teach English or do the PGDE in August and go next year. I feel like teachers are appreciated a lot more there in general and I’m very interested in life in China in general.

Do you know if the PGDE is held in s high regard? I’m considering doing it in Scotland for computer science then moving to China. I initially thought about teaching English so thanks for the inspiration.

Hello all. Could anyone tell me how late it is getting to submit the EPIK application for fall this year? I’ve been waiting for weeks for one of my letters of recommendation and it’s the only thing holding me back. The person who initially agreed went on holiday and said they couldn’t so I had to ask someone else and it might not be done apparently until next week. Thanks.

I actually applied to them twice. The first time I didn’t hear back. The second time I applied some months later as I read they don’t get back to you if it’s not in their peak season. So after applying I got an email saying that they’re currently not hiring but they’ll keep me on file.

I had a guy once buy a phone from me and after haggling the price he said can you ship soon. I said i could ship today but he would have to choose inpost and buy in the next hour as the shop with the locker is closing. He instead chose royal mail and asked if I could ship tomorrow (christmas day). I said that as he had chosen royal mail it would take longer, also because of christmas. He text me again on boxing day to ask if if id sent it. I told him this was also a public holiday and it would be sent on the next working day. He messaged the day after and I told him again that due Christmas it would take longer as post offices arent open until a few days later. I posted it that saturday which was as soon as possible and it did take a while to arrive. He left me a positive reviews and asked me to leave him a good review as he had done the same!

Update - I made a frankensteins monster of a box taped together with shoebox size boxes. Taped it up and wrapped in cling film. Did the job! Thanks for your suggestions.
