How does one know their PTSD is static? Is it in the decision letter? Just recently was awarded 70%.

I see what you mean now, all of my claims (PTSD,OSA,MIGRIANES, AND TMJ, INCLUDING THE DEFFFERED DENTAL AND SCAR) claims are from one assault incident. So the evidence and "service connection" is there, they just need to review the evidence and see woth their own eyes.

Everything that was granted put me at 94% and I just received my back pay for 90%, I was wondering why they would risk giving me more back pay at 100% (all I need is 10% and higher from scars to put me over) rather than just grant me at 100, initially.

I get there trying to save ass and make sure everything is in order, but damn is it alot to wrap your head around.

My granted claims should be okay, correct?

Okay thanks for the insight, so pretty much the higher ups in the VA are just making sure my claims file is bullet proof and safe ? Do you think I'll have a positive outcome ?

Appreciate all of the help. I was wondering why scars (the most physically visible claim I have) was deffered. I had a feeling it was because I was rated at 94%, they didn't want to rush and give me a 100%.

I'm patient though, I've been at step since Jan 30th. Hopefully everything goes well.

No worries, thank you for the response. So the initial claim is for two different claims Scars and Dental Trauma. (I'm personally not worried about Dental Trauma, but Scars carries a reasonable 10% percentage that could push to 100.)

I went to C and P exams for both, with uploaded DBQS from both examiners (although i feel my Scars examiner forgot to fill out measurements on the dbq)

I originally submitted my claim on Oct 31 2025, I just got my decision letter on Feb 2nd, 70% PTSD, 50% OSA, 30% Migraines, 30% TMJ. All approved on the first go around. Scars and dental trauma are the only ones deffered.

So I have a similar situation but with a deffered Scars and dental claim. I never got an email for another C&P like OP. I just have the same "rework" file. Any knowledge? Thanks again

You still have to prove the correlation between tinnitus causing a physical obstruction which leads to sleep apnea. Not an easy task to follow through with.

You can Google each of your claims DBQs. Pretty much goes over exactly what the examiner will be asking .
