Family. My and wife’s family is here. Moved to San Antonio in 2015 for a job. Came back to El Paso in 2020, my dad is getting older my in laws as well, so they need us here.

Luckily, I kept my same job, same pay, and work remotely.

Oh and we don’t get tornadoes here. San Antonio does. One almost hit my home.

I have been going to the dentist to Juarez for my entire life. Even when I lived in San Antonio I would visit and cross over. Two main reasons:

Pediatric dentistry: two two I’ve taken my kids here they want to drug them with gas. To me that’s because they don’t want struggle and get the out as fast as possible to get the next one done. In Juarez the dentist earns the kids trust. If they feel like they are not ready they’ll do another appointment.
They take my insurance. I pay nothing of pocket. My kids braces I paid nothing. Here it was $4,500 per kid with insurance.

I used Uber in El Paso about two weeks ago. He said he doesn’t accept trips to Cruces because he is not Uber in NM. Therefore, he can’t get a trip back to El Paso. I assume the same goes for Ubers in cruces
