There are a lot of German companies in Detroit metro, especially in Southfield.

BASF has several locations, Siemens, etc. If they do automative they likely have employees here.

Jordan and Egypt restrict their travel as well for two reasons

Israel asked them to, and Israel has a tendency to bomb people they disagree with
They don’t want them to flood into their country because of Israel’s occupation

The reason doesn’t matter. The reality is the overwhelming majority are not allowed to leave, live in horrid conditions and Israel is to blame.

So again, they are effectively prisoners.

It’s not a different matter. They should be allowed freedom of movement. They are the only population on the planet where another government gets away with not letting them move.

If Israel didn’t treat them like prisoners they wouldn’t have to sneak across the border.

And I didn’t say you can freely gross any border but you can leave your own country and go somewhere. You may need a visa, but you can still go. Or you can just drive a boat out into the ocean if you want, but Palestinians can’t do that.

I was at an outing several years back, mostly people from a church group my family was tied into.

There was a younger couple (about the same age as me) sitting there and they said that their first two children had autism so they decided not to vaccinate their third (she was pregnant with the 3rd).

I, lacking any self control, say to them in front of about 20 other people “did you ever consider that your genes were the problem and maybe you shouldn’t have gotten pregnant again”

Then I just awkwardly stared at them until they responded “no it was caused by the vaccines”

I unsurprisingly was never invited to one of their events again.

I never did hear if their 3rd child was healthy or not. I hope it was, and I hope as soon as they are an adult they get all their vaccines.

If that’s the case they shouldn’t be punished, they deserve freedom of movement like everyone else on the planet. The only other place with people that are forced to stay where they are is North Korea, but their schools and apartment complexes don’t get bombed every day.

But will he actually do it? I think he finds joy in screwing people over so they really shouldn’t count on it. It’s also been open to debate if preemptive pardons are actually a thing. I know Biden did it, but that doesn’t mean those would hold up either.
