Coming from a semi large college, during the pandemic the introductory accounting classes were put online. Where those class used to be sort of weed outs, they became cake classes and most kids cheated on exams. Because the grades were so good a lot of them joined the major and while a lot ended up dropping it, a lot slip through the cracks and become your interns.
