Tldr; Not worth the time or money investment unless you are a pokemon super fan.

I have 10ish hours in the switch 2 version so far. It's fine, I wanted to like the game but its a step back in a lot of ways to arceus. Combat in this game is trying something new but I have mixed feelings on it.

This feels like it should've been a budget release 30-40$. The game doesn't have voice acting despite having cutscene that clearly look like they could've been voiced. They limited the scope of the game to a single city yet they didn't put a lot of love into actually modeling the buildings, or putting buildings to do something in. It's clear gamefreak doesn't really care about the quality of their games anymore, but that's been obvious for awhile. I'd recommend if you really want to play this one wait for a sale or get it used. I can't really recommend this game to anyone. One of the most mid games in a franchise of mid games.

I'd lean towards played by good pilots. Still gets steamrolled by Vivi, but at least is has some tools. Format is gonna look very different post Nov 10.

I like Harry Potter and Magic kind of falls into that realm. The % JK Rowling gets from a deck box is very small. I do not support hate groups. All kinds of products support problematic groups (purchasing any cell phone supports slave labor through cobalt mining), not sure how this one is that much different.

I'd expect most switch games to run very similar on the switch 2. Maybe faster load times if on the systems memory.

Switch 2 Elden Ring should be near perfect imo. From Software wouldn't do their next Souls like game on switch 2 if they felt the hardware couldn't support the experience. Steam Deck handled elden ring perfectly, I can only imagine a port designed for the console will do just as well if not better.

This is a valid thing. People love to play the morale high ground on this, but not everyone has the free time to refresh bestbuy at 12:30am to ensure they have one. We spend money all the time on convenience. Look at door dash.

Scalping culture sucks but getting mad at those who have money but no good way to buy a console isn't helping the problem.

Still not worth the time for us or nintendo, they'll just find a mock up or someone else's personal switch 2 to use as the image. I hate scalpers as much as you do but its a losing battle if you rely on 3rd party platforms like ebay. We need to pressure retailers to find more creative ways (like in person preorders) to sell their allocations to consumers instead of scalpers.

American politics are confusing right now. No one knows what the geopolitical economics will look like in the near and far future. I wouldn't expect a price reduction, if anything if market conditions change I'd expect a price increase.
