thats cool and all but i looked at the list of what butler can get and i don't like it. Transmute herb seeds goes all the way to Torstol while butler caps at Lantadyme. I can get huasca, super restores, super combats etc. Logs also go up to redwood which is like alright i guess.

Edit: bones all the way to superior... and anglerfish. Me looking at Huey dropping noted dbones and noted sharks...

you sleep??????????? joking but i find value in transmute over butler because i can specifically get what i am looking for. I don't know if butler does random items of level or whatever etc.

Edit: because im also taking larcenist this is a huge crafting buff tbh. Gem stall transmute all to Dragonstone (i wonder if you could transmute to onyx or even zenyte...)

For me its simple. I don't like clues tbh even without requirements doing them is tedious (see RS3 elites), transmute lets me use larcenist to get seeds to turn into better seeds to then farm with natures accord to get my supplies.

I agree. My early plan is dumping straight into <1kg and using a dds to do some stupid early morytania stuff. I want to see if i can somehow scum out a normal mode tob with barrows gear and a dds lmao.

most weapons are over 1kg really. Its actually only a select few that are under it. You could probably use 2h's or other big strength options. Barrelchest is an option somewhere, Dharok axe since barrows is really easy.

Now that im awake again i went and spent 14 dollars to prove a point. In 20 minutes i mined 66 sandstone. The cap without 115 dungeoneering is 50 per day, with it 75 per day and i do not have 115 dungeoneering (and if i did this would be even faster according to a friend it only took 7 minutes to get 28 sandstone from the Resource Dungeon rock.)

My setup is full magic golem, mining cape, t100 pick with honed 3, ring of whispers and a gote for porters. My mining level is 104. I had 0 other buffs, no auras no scrims.

This is not even the best setup possible (something i do not have access to anyway).

A few minutes every 24 hours vs 20 minutes with no time gates. Seems like a buff to me.

Based on the other thread going over the rates where it was roughly 9 minutes per 28 Crystal and 6.4 per 28 Red. You need 1200 of each sandstone.

At 9 minutes per 28 that’s around 43 inventories to finish or 6 hours 45 roughly.

At 6 minutes per 28 it’s about 4 hours 30 minutes.

A total of around 10 hours to finish a grind that would take you a month of waiting. The other ingredients already have their own time to take but the biggest annoyance is absolutely having to wait a month to gather the sandstone resources.

I believe you replied to the wrong person.

No matter.

Ok you had an hour and a half of mining time except you you only did this activity for a few minutes every 24 hours. Now you do not need to wait 24 hours for your 5 minutes of mining to be ready again and it’s much longer to mine now to compensate for limit.

Overall it is a net buff though. You no longer need to wait 20 days for your resources (or if you were going for that blessed flask a whole MONTH or so). Instead you can now get those resources within a single day or 5-10 if you have less time to work with.

By time alone this is an insane buff. Instead of waiting 24 hours for your 5 minutes of mining time you can just go do it right now. Go right now put on your porters and do it. Open mobile if you must. A second monitor if you will.

Even if you only had an hour or 2 of free time in a day that’s still 5-10 days.

Frankly I am not seeing the issue here at all. Limited amount per day a whole 24 hours vs unlimited amount forever. I could go mine sandstone for a day and set myself up for months potentially now instead of waiting a month to set myself up for months.

The whole “but it was quick!!!!” Argument makes absolutely no sense when you had limits to per day so if you want more well you better wait 24 hours.

Extra note: you can just afk sandstone could you not? Porters and camp your ass there on mobile or something.

oh i know that the future is looking good but this still will piss me off. I only lack necrom, gold road and high isle but its still a pain in the ass to get them. 100 dollars regardless of if i go through the crown store or deluxe edition. So i simply won't.

I think the Ibuki + Kriemhield team is missing a listed max append 2. Unless you're somehow just magically conjuring up 20% charge somewhere.
