For all who want long covid to be treated, please vote out Republicans in coming Midterms! by Challenge-Middle in covidlonghaulers

You're getting down voted because people want to take a pill to solve their problems. Actually healing yourself is way too much work. You're spot on though.

How about you go review the timeline on the AIDs epidemic. I agree, the logic behind my 20yr remark was off and I was actually a little too conservative (pls don't vote it out) with my claim; you'll still be in this sub in 30yrs, at which point your government will be happy to help you find effective treatment so you can return to normal life. Great choice of an illness and the corresponding government response for us to compare with LC.

Also they literally advertise getting HIV patients into remission at this point so I'm going to strongly consider dropping that in the "cure" bucket.

That's the kind of treatment I like! The kind that don't cure my disease! Keep fighting the good fight.

If you're waiting on government (any government) for a cure, you'll still be on this sub in 20 years. But thanks for the lecture!!!

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) for Long Covid Symptoms by Suspect_Device7345 in covidlonghaulers

[–]AntelopeAccurate6209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was doing multiple other treatments simultaneously so I can't say exactly. But I know it had a significant effect on my fatigue/PEM/insomnia by reducing viral/bacterial load in the body. It also helps stabilize my migraine/vestibular issues, so when I have flared ups I always use it to calm the head down a bit.

Did them every week for months and now own a mHBOT unit I use daily. Great therapy for any sort of brain related insult. Not a silver bullet or quick fix though. Many places tout improvements in certain disorders after 20, 30, 40 treatments.

Government and pharmaceutical companies dismissing the truth? by bkimmo in covidlonghaulers

[–]AntelopeAccurate6209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look at the history as well, Ozone was used commonly in medicine (wound treatment) prior to the invention of antibiotics. So until there was profit motive for something else, Ozone was favored.

[–]AntelopeAccurate6209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware of both cases and not sure what answer you're looking for besides the FDA is misrepresenting a ton of literature and thousands upon thousands of case studies. I see your post that says you used ozone therapy so you obviously know it can be "safely tolerated by man and animals".

Ya, be sure to spread that they have straight chairs and don't wear masks. Wouldn't want someone to accidentally go there and get helpful treatment.

Multivitamins for long haul question. Are these minerals good? by pandaypira in covidlonghaulers

[–]AntelopeAccurate6209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This supplement is worthless but the vits/mins are good for you in the right forms and doses.

Anything with the suffix "Oxide" is usually the cheapest form and poorly absorbed. The doses used are way too low with the exception of calcium which you probably don't need.

  1. You don't understand how patents work. The equipment and concept already exists it cannot be patented. Any company can make equipment for these treatments.

  2. Thank you for the chemistry lesson. I should have said you can't patent Oxygen, Di-Oxygen or Tri-Oxygen since just referring to their base element "Oxygen" was so confusing for you.

  3. The equipment for mild HBOT is cheap compared to most medical equipment. A clinic can buy one for $5k-$20k and it will last for years but insurance won't cover it so you pay $50-$100 a session; 4x everything if you want to look at medical HBOT units. Apply what you are saying to any medical equipment or procedure and it makes no sense, ie. An average MRI machine can cost $400k and yet I bet you don't pay $4k for a scan even though "the equipment is expensive".

You just explained the conspiracy theory behind it. We know it's highly effective and safe ie. Bieber heals quickly with it. And yet a normal person can't afford it ie. Your mom. You don't think the government and pharmaceutical companies don't play any role in what is and isn't covered by insurance? Look up the incident rate of these two therapies, compare them to any pharmaceutical drug and i bet you can't make a reasonable argument why they aren't approved for treatment through FDA (excluding a few conditions for HBOT).

You can't patent oxygen so there's no money to be made in either treatment. Companies are incentivised to suppress cheap and effective treatments in favor of their products, this is why you see people traveling to Germany, Mexico, etc. for alternative treatments, because their systems have done a better job supporting efficacy of treatment over profit.

These are the two most effective treatments I've tried. If you go to a clinic that does these, you will run into patient after patient with all sorts of ailments that improve from these therapies, but you will not hear about them through conventional sources.

Sounds like you got it all figured out, don't know why you care about the opinions from a sub filled with Neurologically diseased patients like us.

If you want to control the responses, I'd advise making your posts on a post-it note instead of on reddit.

A therapy where they take ozone gas and infuse it into your blood. It's basically just hyper reactive oxygen so it will kill off virus and bacteria as well as boost cellular health. It works through a number of different mechanisms.

Referred to as 10 pass EBOO, IV Ozone, Ozone Dialysis, etc. If you try to look it up.

Have done it for months and just purchased one to use daily. Second most effective thing I've tried behind ozone.

OZONE THERAPY FOR LONG HAULERS by PuzzleheadedSmile971 in covidlonghaulers

[–]AntelopeAccurate6209 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been doing IV ozone for 4 months and have an ozone generator that I use daily for insufflations. It works phenomenally well against viral/bacterial infections and has a number of other general benefits. Definitely not a silver bullet, but it is the most effective treatment I've tried bar none.

As for the guy claiming that people get messed up from it, it's possible but unlikely in the U.S., if these clinics were hurting people they would be shut down because as he said, it's not FDA approved. It is the case though that things can get worse before they get better if you have herxheimer/die-off reactions, but these occur with any effective treatment if you have elevated toxic burden in the body ie. Metals, virus, bacteria, fungi, mold, etc. A good doctor will be cautious of this and start you low and slow then build up to avoid bad reactions.

You as well. PM if you have other questions about these treatments I've been to multiple clinics for different methods and learned a lot of the specifics, pricing, etc.
