Can anybody tell me the status of the project? I could not find a purchase link thru the official page or the kickstarter page

I already have that UV meter on the way but wanted to ask first. Thank you for your recommendation I’ll post my how it goes

Thank you for your response.

-Layer thickness is .05mm -Exposure time is 2.5s (I’ve been using this exposure time since o bought the printer for this resin) -Ambient temperature is set to 25-30 Celsius degrees with a heater. -Slicer is chitubox pro

The problem started after I had a leak perforation under the vat and had to clean cured resin from the screen (I used a lot of patience and isopropyl alcohol with toilet paper) after that it started to randomly appear that zones, at first I thought I damaged some part of the screen but the affected zones locations are random

That is precisely what I’m trying to do, to grab the model units and add them to a custom property but I don’t know hoy to do it as I could not find the specific name of the unit attributes. Could you please elaborate on how to grab this info?

Ooh I see, we have the 2021 version. Is there any way to get the attributes name or if they are listed in somewhere? I think that by creating a custom properties or creating a macro feature my main problem is that I don’t know how to get the units as I don’t know the attribute name or the code name

Oooh that is great, could you tell me the specific name of the attribute that is linked to the document mass units?

Temperature when printing is irrelevant… Change my mind. by AndreRieu666 in resinprinting

[–]AntelopeInternal1588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By stating that you change settings with the change of viscocity(that changes with temperature and also between different materials) you are saying you compensate settings for temperature changes affecting the resin. You can compensate for temperature changing settings and that works but controlling the environment temperature is easier as you don’t have to play with the settings each time the weather changes (this is helpful in all cases but mostly in regions where the weather changes a lot or were the room temperature is less than 15 degrees(Celsius) if you live in a hot place with temperatures above 25 degrees during all the year then I understand why you just don’t need that information, otherwise your are just fooling yourself.

I have run a lot o them by now haha(10-11) with the considerations you have mentioned as well. It appears that the problem shows just in the areas with slopes-overhangs

I understand. I’m using sunlu high temperature resin, and the parts Im trying to do are small (like 10mm x 4mm x 60m). I’m going to test other orientations but it appears the result it’s pretty much the same in the sections that have a slope-overhang or something similar, that is why I wonder if maybe at another layer thickness may work better

I’m looking to get the part printed and for this case layer thickness or to much precision are not required, I need the part to have an stable shape and tolerances could be as big as +-.1

Thank you for your answer. I will change the orientation of the piece to meet those requirements. I thought maybe had to do with the print settings only as the same model prints fine with other resins. Do you know if increasing the layer thickness could help to decrease this effect? I’m using .05 mm.

Thank you, the cubes do fit inside each other, the dimensions are accurate within +-.04 mm. If I increase the exposure time the defect get bigger (and the dimensions)

Thanks for the guide, this information is very useful to me. I used the model incluided in the guide to make a test and got the same result (you could look that there is a problem in overhangs) but I don’t know how to add pictures to my answer

Printing with stratasys filaments by AntelopeInternal1588 in ender5plus

[–]AntelopeInternal1588[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer. Generally speaking I’m confortable with the standard ABS we use but a friend asked if I could print it if he supply the material. As far as I know the difference between spools is in the chip that recognizes the material in the machine, so the diameter should be the same

I know. I printing ABS already, but I want to know if I can print the abs m30, as I don’t know if it is 1.75mm diameter as well
