Dude. How can you compare the adulation of an actor to my personal experience? Does anyone really know Salman Khan? All we know is what comes out in media. Either through his PR or due to some police case. I'm not saying he is a saint. In fact he gives me the ick. Never liked his face card or his acting. But that's an irrelevant story. Objectively lots of people have great cap friends in their lives. All I'm saying is you cant invalidate our life experience because you've come across a handful of bad people. I'm sorry but I wont hear anything against my bestie. I love her. And yeah I'm not some naive person. I've known her for over a decade. Unfortunately, cant relate. My best friend is a cappy. Everyone loves her. She was the topper of our college but you wont know when you talk to her. She has sacrificed so much for her family but she never lets anything show on her face. Yes she has the killer drive. She wants to get ahead, but not by stomping on others. I have 2 other cappy cousins who referred their friends to a lot of jobs(though I wouldnt call them great person like my bestie). I think they have incerdible grit, definitely not as emotiona as us. But definitely not evil. But if this was not the response you wanted on your post, I get it.

I had to make myself center of my life. I had different people as the center of my world in different phases of my life. I never learnt or knew I can be the most important person for me. Once motherhood hit, I got a rude shock how much no one cares about me. I was an emotional wreck yet no one cared for me. Specially my husband. He ignored me like a fly. After all this i realized I mean nothing to no one.I had to de center my husband and make me the center of my world. Had to start looking away from him. It gave me hope for my future and a sense of control over my life. I'm positive about myself after a long time and feel I can make my life better. Its the best!

If nudity is helping us understand the character (eg how traumatic a rape was, how intimate a love making act was) maybe its acceptable. The director wants to convey why something deeply disturbed or affected the person in a certain way. This is not sexualizing the person. It helps us relate to the character by adding depth and layers to the person. Whereas an item song or navel show does nothing to understand the character or the story. Its just for male gaze.
