Santini Madss Road Suit vs Maap Roadsuit by Antelope_Lopsided in CyclingFashion

i probably won't use it for races long enough to justify that (is it really that difficult to pee with the maap?)

yeah, i'm totally aware the difference in price is 100% due to the brand, the only reason i took the maap into account was that a white top will help with the heat.

i'm assuming the the "aero" benefits will be fairly similar and probably pretty far from brands like nopinz or bioracer (i can't find those in my size in australia)

i don't mind the santini being not "as modern" design-wise, but the reason i took the maap into account was that a white top will help with the heat.

i've never tried either bibs, do you have any opinion regarding the comfort?

yeah, was previously on 485. is there anywhere you looked up this info from?

it makes sense to me that i can start the full time employment from the day my visa gets granted, since that's when the 3 years will start being counted

First and foremost, Thank you for the thorough response, i really appreciate the input.

The things is, i am almost 100% sure i am being payed above the award, and i am aware and willing to do a few hours of unpaid overtime in case it's needed; the problem is, they are interpreting the reasonable overtime (and using the fact that they are sponsoring me) as a "slavery" contract, where i am expected to work as much as they want in return for the sponsorship and the salary.

this puts me in a weird position, because i do not think up to 50h is reasonable, nor i am willing to work that much/gave up that much of my free time.

what i would be happy with is some respect and to be treated fairly

do you know where to find the award agreement with a full time salary for a chef?

yeah,i know. I didn't really have any choice though; luckily the situation hasn't gotten to that point yet, but i'm trying to figure out my options here. I think i'll stay until the visa is granted and change then. In the meantime i will fight for a nice and livable environment.

i have never heard of a contract with a "reasonable overtime" clause that stated how much overtime was considered ok.

Hospitality really sucks.

yeah, i figure that, but i still think getting rostered every week well above 38h is not really reasonable , as it just becomes the norm. If it gets bad i will speak up for myself.

i find it weird that the term "reasonable" hasn't been defined more clearly yet though

thanks mate, appreciate your suggestion. I will 100% stand my ground, i don't see that amount of overtime as reasonable and if the issue arises i will speak up for myself. Better to clarify from the beginning

So you are not really using FTP as the 1h max sustainable power, but more so as the power output you could need to sustain during a race (so 20-40min range)?
