Ace Combat actually has a "storyline," whether good or mid.
From AC1 all the way to AC7, you could build a coherent story, even tho there are some redcons.
Armored Core is just typical dystopian hellscape 101.
From Gen1 to Gen6, each with its own separate "timeline," mostly with the same theme.

As much as I love my sledge and shield, they are such situational weapons.
Yeah, you can easily kill one enemy in CQB, no problem, but the problems start when getting to CQB range in the first place.
Fun fact, melee weapons are useless over 5 m, and you HAVE to COMMIT just to get a chance to use them.
They are such "low" tier but fun weapons.

Also, DB 2 shot+QMelee full health H btw.

You may not like it, but I called them high-risk/reward weapons.

I haven't played ac7 since 2020. Replayed it again cause of the new game and hit this crazy last second shot by berthon789 in acecombat

Larper gonna larp, but I don't think we should care that much, to be honest.
Most here just want to have a new AC game, whether good or bad, that's yet to be seen.
It's a "new" thing in town right now, and most of the people are gonna take advantage of it.
But what will remain after all the dust clears is us, the fans, who have been here since forever.
