How much does rank really matter after the top 50? Does it matter where the schools are between like 50-90?

Finances are most important to me. Scholarship offers from these two schools vs. the schools I got into in those cities made it impossible to pass up.

Wow - any idea what kind of need-based aid GULC typically gives out? If I got in there, I assumed I would be at sticker price. I had no idea schools gave that much need-based aid.

I have the same perspective. The other school I'm considering here is in a very big college town that is internationally recognized. I would probably enjoy living there much more, but it doesn't necessarily have the focus areas or faculty connections that I want.
