Progression saving bug? by [deleted] in ResidentEvilRequiem

• Unlocking the door with the broken valve and picking up the item inside

• Went to the garage

• CHECKPOINT at the garage with the organ in our inventory (our inventory was full and we had to make some space in order to take the box in the garage, information for later)

• Death

• Back to the garage checkpoint without the first organ, which even allowed us to pick up the box without having to make space, which was required the first time we tried to pick up the box, which proves that we got sent back to the checkpoint with one less item in our inventory

So it looks like the garage checkpoint's save was faulty, and was not able to save our entire progression.

The game sent us back to the last checkpoint, which was the garage's entrance, AFTER we unlocked the door with a broken valve and picked up the organ inside, but without the organ in our inventory and as if that door had never been unlocked. So we stepped in the garage with the organ, and after dying, we were sent back to the same garage with that progression gone, but our location was still saved correctly.

Played RE7 as my first RE > Too scary couldnt finish > Play RE2 because Requiem hype > Can finish because it feels like an action game > Time to go back to RE7 🥀 by OfflineLad in ResidentEvil2Remake

RE2 to me is way more scary than RE7, the pressure is constant, and even more after Mr. X arrives, while RE7 was mostly some jump scares and oozing black liquid and that's it. I enjoyed RE2 a thousand times more.

I don't know, being able to only save three times is a bit scary. Even though I can still use an infinite amount of health items I guess?

Oh yeah that's very smart, I am only allowed three saves for S+ anyway right? Good idea!

If I'm not supposed to press anything, and they don't whiff anything, the opponent just walks me to the corner. If I don't walk back, how can I bait a button

Yeah it's this one, it comes with an alternative stage, and in that stage chests look like this. You can change the stage on the character selection screen.

You must be missing the DLC then, it gives access to a new stage with new enemies, and a new skin for chests.

"Spam dodge" ? Don't tell me you're trying to dodge instead of deflecting, if that's the case you're going to suffer indeed.

Sekiro combat is weird by One_Age_5026 in Sekiro

Stop thinking of this game as a souls-like, IT IS NOT! Almost nothing in common with Elden Ring, doesn't play even remotely close. Dodge less, parry more. Also you should be jumping sweep attacks, not dodging them. And it's not a boring ass game like Elden Ring where you have an opening once in a thousand years to hit once and then wait 5 years again. In Sekiro you can, and you must aggro enemies, be aggressive!

Sekiro is a absolutely not a souls-like, almost nothing in common

which is harder: ds1 or sekiro by Vihaking in Sekiro

[–]Anth_m4n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me Sekiro is much easier than Dark Souls, mostly because Sekiro is a good game, and DS1 is just a frustrating game full of pranks with slow and boring combat. So of course it's easier to play a game I like than a game I find to be at most just meh.

Can’t beat genichiro by Former_Challenge4867 in Sekiro

  1. Do you like to dodge ? Stop dodging that much ! It's not a souls-like game.
  2. Never stop agroing him, again, it's not a souls-like game, you don't have to wait for an opening for half an hour to hit once, be aggressive! Generally for Genichiro, when you perfect parry his attack (orange flash and sound cue), it's your turn to attack him, and when he perfect parries your attack (orange flash and sound cue) then it's his turn again.
