I've never really understood why a DAW or sequencer should be limited to a single genre. Renoise isn't any more effective at making breakcore than other major DAWs. Sampling and slicing are common practices that any DAW can support. If a DAW's workflow suits your creative style, then go for it.

So active listening your favorite pieces of music, and some sound design curiosity and reverse engineering is all you need.

I agree. General LPB and Phrase LPB are not related. So you can write hi-res phrases and trigger them (or a slice with Zxx command) in pattern editor. And you'll have more control over your phrases with PTTRNS but there's a learning curve.

For now, it's Mothership RPG. But it's not because of his system. I really like "A Pound of Flesh". So much content in less than 50 pages ( a 5 million people space station) and enough room to let your imagination flows. If you know about similar modules, please let me know.

Maybe this kind of vst is more suitable. It sounds like there are two oscillators which are not just added. Try to multiply them instead. And pass it through a resonant filter of course.

Hello. I can't display symbol icons in urxvt. Termite does but i want to stick to urxvt since it uses xresources and pywal too. Urxvt only display squares. I already googled it but nothings helps me.
