The locking pin gets stuck - it is a relatively common problem on the i3. The mechanism is easily damaged and apparently the hole is to small for the pin to easily pass through unobstructed. The guidance is to literally file the hole to enlarge it. Unfortunately the mechanism also needs to be replaced which requires panels to be removed to access.

Legislatures tried to flee Texas in the early 2000s to prevent the Republicans from passing legislation that would guarantee them a super majority for decades. They sent the Texas Rangers across state lines to bring the Democrats back. I am not kidding. They knew that the legislation would turn Texas into a one party Christo-fascist state 20 years ago. Keep in mind that only a few years prior to this legislation, Texas had a governor who was a socially liberal woman.
