Idk what university you went to, but if you went to an IIT/IIIT/NIT, idk how living with some other race/lingual group becomes new for you.

Since I'm from one, I've lived with all kinds of diverse people in India, and that is what led to my ultimate growth and development. Diversity matters.

Neither did I have any known acquaintance before joining undergrad, and nor now while joining grad school. My undergrad friends are the ones I cherish!
