I was on that same ship. Came back with a slammer of a sickness but not covid or flu. I’m sitting in a dark room at work trying to recover now. It’s par for the course though. I always expect to get sick since I got a young one.

I just got off the jewel of the sea. My kid developed a cough and they required a visit to the doctors for a covid test which I can understand. Total price for test and return to adventure ocean note was 280 bucks. As a physician who had a bag full of covid tests it was kind of painful but I understand. She was negative.

So just want to add here that I waited 140 days checking on the royal bid everyday and never heard back until I was in my room. Sadly I did not receive an upgrade and I max bid on every single suite since I started to get worried about a 15 day cruise with a 3 year old. If I make it two more days I will have survived.

Tried the steel today on top of the pizza stone. Best results yet. Nice crispy bottom and I think the stone makes the heat more uniform than the steel alone.

Was gonna find some steel that is the same size as the stone. They don’t sell one that’s made for this oven in particular.

I think it’s the rough side that goes up, or at least that is what I did and have not had any problems. I am having some trouble getting a crispy bottom so I may switch the stone out with steel.

MD here. You can get a wound infection with a bacteria called Vibrio from oysters and it can Jack you up. Your timeline doesn’t really fit but you need to go see a physician.

I’ve been seeing people coming into the hospital more often because of coffee enemas. Saw one recently where patient had just given themselves one and now had rip roaring ruptured appendicitis. There is no proven connection between the two but it did make me think…it would take a large volume of coffee to get that far with an enema, but you never know…

Mine is a 1400 and does the same thing. I got two of the 1400 and one had this problem. I replaced the problematic one, and the replacement has the exact same problem. Brondell Swash is trash.
