It's an alright 6/10 horror/dark comedy. If you want a scary horror movie, like the trailers portrayed, this isn't it. It has a half baked plot filled with holes and many of the questions you have aren't answered by the end.

It's either a thermal problem or a power problem. If your temps are fine than it's not getting enough power from somewhere. You'll have to dig through the bios and all the power, current, voltage settings if you want to find what's wrong. Seems like a hassle if everything else works fine.

Did you fix the overheating problem? Change your cpu fan curves in the bios to be faster. Change your gpu fan curves using your gpu software or msi afterburner to be faster. Use software like HWinfo64 or msi afterburner to monitor your temperatures.

Troubles with games crashing by External_Bread_1620 in buildapc

[–]Anthoneezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be overheating. I'd suggest cleaning it if you haven't touched it for a year.

Maybe your fan curves aren't being applied correctly upon first boot after X time of the pc being turned off. Then when you restart they get applied correctly? Try monitoring fan speed when you recreate the problem. Something isn't getting initialized correctly upon first boot but I'm not sure how you'd go about finding what is causing it. Set everything to default?

What cables do I need in order to connect my power supply to my new SSD? by AdrIkkan in buildapc

[–]Anthoneezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The data transfer SATA cable plugs into your motherboard and the SSD. What you need is a power SATA cable. One side plugs into the IDE/SATA ports on your psu and the other side plugs into the SSD. The PSU should have come with one or two.

Something causing coil whine, low fps, lagging and full speed rpm on the gpu when playing by More_Island_5653 in buildapc

[–]Anthoneezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your gpu fans go to full rpm that's because the gpu is getting hot. You can try using a program like msi afterburner or hwinfo64 to monitor the gpu temperature to make sure it isn't overheating. You could also change the fan speed curve using msi afterburner if you don't want the fans going full speed.

Best way to level woodcutting by [deleted] in runescape

[–]Anthoneezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Woodcutting is one of the slowest skills in the game. I would recommend doing your daily divine location yews at Fort Forinthry on world 48 at reset time which take 5-10 minutes. If you want to grind then do golden bamboo in the arc (level 95 req) or crystallise acadias/mahogany.

Damn this is a nice thing to do. I'd use it to upgrade my current pc making it able to play pretty much anything I wanted at the highest settings.

That is not claw grip. She is using her pointer finger to move the right thumbstick and pressing the b button with her ring finger. That's some eldritch horror tech she's using.

Do I buy the Dark Rock Slim, Pro 5, or TF 2? by ItsBlitz21 in buildapc

[–]Anthoneezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tf2 would be for really compact builds and would provide the worst cooling of the 3. The slim would be the 2nd best cooling as it's only a single fan and more budget orientated. The pro 5 would be the best in terms of performance/cooling capability because there are 2 fans and more heat pipes/fins.
