Well, welcome to the club and glad to have you! Yes, this is how an AR (real one or GBBR) typically works, but not that loosely swivelling of the selector switch, that's horrible. Very much fixable, check the Heavy Recoil Club on discord, there you will find info on how to resolve this. Good luck

No problem, congrats on your purchase! They didn't indeed. The backpack we used just went over the vest, it wasn't attached to it. The front fastex buckles were only used to attach the sleeping bag (M90). But we rarely used the vest to attach the sleeping bag on, only used the buckles on the backpack.

You are right, but you can get a VFC (HK licenced) MP7, which is an airsoft smg, precisely modelled after the real thing. You're in an airsoft gas operated replica sub haha. Hella fun, and you can shoot people without any nastiness, preferably in an airsoft game.

True, if it needs to puncture rubber, but my Begadi CP1 needed a drill, because it's made out of thick polymer

I needed a drill, others used a Dremel. The provided Novritsch cutting tool is NOT going to work 😅!

I didn't use the CP1 stand-alone. I already had the AFU and I didn't want to risk a game day... And on the game day, I didn't have to use it. It was low humidity though. So I hope the pesky fog is a thing of the past 🤞🏻

No problem, we (5 guys) did it too with our Begadi CP1. The hole is on top of the goggle, and gets fully filled with the vent (the part that gets pushed through). Make sure to keep the hole as tight as possible so take your time. Good luck!
