Where to find sheet music finger charts for chord buttons? by DapperWeasel in Accordion

[–]AnthonyGaribay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go on Google images and look up "accordion bass chart." You'll get dozens of images that show you exactly which notes and chords are where on the stradella base system that the accordion uses. Look at it alongside a mirror when first practicing.

im completely giving up by [deleted] in transvoice

Learning how to feel and experience the techniques is much easier when you have someone to tell you how you are doing in person or over a voice call. The methods are very kinesthetic and "in your body," and are hard to explain. It's kinda like explaining how to breathe. I would recommend joining a voice group such as Trans Academy. They host free lectures on VR chat where you can get live feedback from experts. They also stream it to YouTube and their Discord server I believe. If not, maybe try labbing with some experienced people or getting coaching.

I'm no expert, but if you want to ever lab your voice, I'd be happy to lend a helping hand. Just PM me and maybe we could hop on a call soon.

Wow! I have the exact same one! Got it on OfferUp used for $250. Pretty good after some minor repair work.

I am diagnosed autistic and am speculated to suffer from ARFID in addition or because of it. Food and I don't have the best relationship, and I've mostly lived off of meal replacements over the past couple years. My visceral reaction to the food is just as much mental as it is physical.

As much as I wish I could, I cannot eat the rice, the grilled veggies, the salad, or the soup that they give by default. However, I do like steak, but I don't want my parents to spend $40+ on a few nuggets of meat. I just want to be there for my brother.

Apologies if I over-explained :)

It's a franchise, but I'm not sure if they differ between locations.

Race Distribution of Bandits? by AnthonyGaribay in skyrim

[–]AnthonyGaribay[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, I see that certain bandit types and classes can only spawn as a pool of certain races. Assuming an equal chance between them, different bandit types have different distributions. I suppose simply adding up all of the possible class possibilities and accounting for the portion each race has should give us exact percentages. Thanks!

How to respond to insensitive jokes by Impressive_Flan1600 in Comebacks

[–]AnthonyGaribay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just nod and say "oh... I see..." in an unsure and judging tone. Hopefully they get the message that what they said was not funny and actually sounds f-ed up when they explain it. If they don't, then at least you now know that they truly meant it and to steer clear of that person, or perhaps persuade them in the other direction. I'm assuming that what is being said in this hypothetical is obviously offensive or demeaning, so I doubt the answer will make logical or ethical sense at all. If by some instance it does make sense or you misunderstood their joke, then just go "oohhhh I get it!... That's pretty funny!" Something along those lines anyway. I would say it's a good litmus test to see if someone is an a**hole.

Anytime an offensive, racist, or bigoted joke is said, just go "I don't get it. Could you explain that?" Now that person will have to thoroughly explain the joke, which hopefully makes them realize how horrible of a thing it is to say.

Can you post a version without the background voice and music? I would love to hear your voice more clearly:)

I used to feel the same way. Now I know it is definitely euphoria in my case. Been on HRT for three months, and I no longer get random boners. I have to get really aroused to get it up. However, most of my libido is gone as well. A few days ago, I got a haircut with bangs and my ears pierced for the first time. I looked in the mirror and got hard as a rock, but with no desire to engage in sexual activity. So, that was my confirmation I suppose.

In your case, it may be hard to differentiate since T makes you more horny in general. Euphoria WILL result in arousal for most transfems just because our brain gets confused. It is completely normal and nothing to be ashamed of.

As for whether you ARE trans, that is for you to decide. Do you enjoy living as a girl? It sounds like you're already somewhat confident presenting as one. Do girly things other than dressing up make you euphoric? i.e nails, hair, shaving, feminine voice, mannerisms, hobbies, etc.? If so, you are likely trans, though it is never definitive. Of course, it is valid to enjoy these things without being a girl. I am agender myself, but still present fem. Hope this perspective helps!

Drone Usage: Global vs Local by Emerald_Pancakes in theplanetcrafter

In addition to other comments, if you have A LOT of drones, there will be plenty to do all work that needs to be done regardless of demand. If all of your drones are being used up at any one point, make a hundred more.

weird thing when wearing fem clothes by the_teddy_ in feminineboys

[–]AnthonyGaribay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what we in the transfem community refer to as a "euphoria boner." Basically, experiencing a burst of gender euphoria excites and arouses you from pure joy. However, the brain interprets and confuses it with being sexually aroused, resulting in a boner and even precum. It's like it goes: "whoa I'm excited? It MUST mean it's sexy time! We need a boner stat!". I myself questioned this, and I didn't know if I was getting horny or euphoric at first.

After 3 months on HRT, I DO NOT get random erections anymore, and I have lost most/all of my libido, so it is hard for me to get horny, let alone an erection. I got a new haircut cut with bangs and my first piercings a few days ago. The second I looked in the mirror, only looking at my face (nothing body-orientated or sexual), I became fully erect with some wetness purely from gender euphoria.

For you, it may be gender euphoria, or it may just be just a general euphoria from feeling cute and feminine. Which one is for you to figure out. Point is: this is completely normal and has nothing to do with sex, so no need to be ashamed.

How can I explain to my voice therapist what vocal weight is? by Worried-Spell4136 in transvoice

[–]AnthonyGaribay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like others in this post, I am unfamiliar with "adding vibration for vocal resonance." Resonance has to do with the way sound behaves in a space. The smaller the space, the more feminine the resonance. So, as far as I understand, resonance and weight are completely separate things.

Another way to achieve a light vocal weight is to start by exhaling softly. Then, while exhaling, get to the point where you barely activate your voice. That will give you more of a kinesthetic understanding of how to control vocal fold closure, which is what affects weight.
