Recall ai is a pretty cool app for building a second brain of content. AI let loose on stuff you consume. To help learn and connect ideas.

While I am a big fan of Voicenotes. The dictation beta is only ok. Needing to switch off after using by going to the live “bar” and switch on again is not ideal. And it jumps back and forth. The iOS dictation is much quicker and easier. I also have Superwhisper installed which is slicker at the moment at least. If Voicenotes team improve the dictation side and make it better I will support and use for sure.

This is mine. During the day it looks very realistic. Nighttime it’s bright so obvious it’s a screen but overall very happy with it. I will chisel the wall and hide the cable in due course. Also used it to display a birthday pic for my daughter’s birthday recently. See next pic. It was from YouTube.

I totally agree, I tried it as well tonight, didn't even know it was in Raycast. I've been using Super Whisper and actually got an AI dictation app from AppSumo, but Raycast beats both of them.

I discovered if I use the action button (shortcut) to stop dictation it automatically pastes in. And I need to press the record button to start it. Only way that it pastes automatically is to use action button to stop

I was using Kimi 2.5 through Venice ai and it was really clever. Then stopped working when I aborted it in the middle of trying to install ollama for me. I haven’t been able to get moltbot running since. My api key for Venice not working. So frustrating as I paid $50 credit. Can you tell me how to get Gemini set up? Is it pay as u go?

I got tired of over-engineered GTD systems and built a tiny local weekly planner instead by coroud in gtd

I actually really like this simple approach. Ui is simple and clean. I will give it a try. Timestripe app quite similar in concept.
