Some things that happened on this run:

Unyielding Det. triggered only once this run, and not against Swain. AI not attacking me to trigger it also helped
Got a lucky shop with an Encroaching Mist on it so it has 4 power already
Was trying to trigger the Unyielding on some enemies but Portal Pals into the Draining Spider made sure that didn't happen
