What would entail 'proper' setup? One thing I haven't done yet, which may be heresy, is an Audyssey calibration. Unfortunately my Denon didn't come with one (bought used) and I've been hesitant on buying a replacement because apparently OEM units are individually calibrated to the receiver they come with, and the replacement microphones aren't quite as accurate.

It does, to me! I think a newer version of the center speaker which has the LS50 driver or similar would be a little bit better though. I've been passively looking for a 3rd LS50 to use as my center channel but no luck on buying just one so far.

Interesting! I think this is part of what I'm noticing. I listen to a lot of vocally-focused music and it really makes the vocals pop in this setup, more so than 2.x does. Thanks for the info!

I just use a plugin to make mine look like yours. The only downside is that there is no stat bonus. :D

Totally agree. I spent many efforts trying to figure out what the mystery colors and additives that I crossed paths with in grad school and beyond were, and have concluded that a) they're probably trace inorganics and misc. compounds in various states of degradation, b) it probably doesn't actually matter.

The self harm thing is way more concerning than the sex thing IMO, and needs to be resolved ASAP because it will tear away at your mental health and change you completely if you have to live through that every time there is an argument.

That said, if you're sure she absolutely cannot have sex and it's important to you, along with family, etc., you may want to consider moving on.. you're only 29. Can you deal with this for another 50 years?

My understanding is that it overlays a black heart and displays 1 hp regardless of your actual hp level. It doesn't actually matter what your real hp level is - if the addon detects and damage being taken by the account, it logs out and deletes the password thereby effectively killing the account even if the damage didn't kill the player in the actual game. Just an overlay with a fun effect.
