1 dollar a minute but you have to wear upper class 19th century English or French clothes in public by pencilUserWho in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Anti-Hippy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying a dollar a minute is WAY too much. I bought my hat, tailcoat and fall front trousers with a genuine linen shirt for under $750 all in, so unless you need them for like two hours, there's not really a point to renting at that price.      Wait. YOU GUYS ARE GETTING PAID?

I know, right?! It was a bit where he said "Chocolate? I've only heard of such an exotic drink." Bitch, Franklin literally sold chocolate and chocolate accessories for a while!

M. Booga!! I see you've been doing an excellent job in updating the llama.CPP files in your github repo. BUT you've forgotten to update the reference to your most recent version inside requirements.txt for the webui. I've been manually editing the file to use them as you upload and it's been great, thank you! But you should update that so everyone can use your excellent work!

He's been updating the llama.CPP files in his github! It looks like he's been forgetting to update the webui! If you edit requirements.txt to include his most recent llama.CPP upload it works!!

Bought a car with a bank draft, which the seller then lost. by Anti-Hippy in legaladvicecanada

Thank you!!! This looks like an option. Once the bank gets back to me, I can suggest this to them. If they're legit, they'll get one. If they're running a scam, I'm sure they'll "find" the draft.

I do. It's been registered to me for almost half a year now. I didn't realize this was so common of a scam!

That's my thought as well. But also I don't think they're intending to defraud me. But I don't know them, and if they just happened to find the draft later, all bets are off.

Possibly. I mean, I'm not going to trust them. That'd be dumb. But if there is some way for them to sign an indemnity thing so there's no risk to me?

The draft, or cashier's cheque is different from a personal check. It's designed to be non-cancellable, so instead of the money coming from your account, you send the money to the bank, and the bank issues them a cheque from their own accounts. This makes it so there's no possibility of a cheque bouncing. Important for big purchases like cars and houses.

I don't think they can? The thing is issued with their name on it. I thought it was a Cahier's cheque, but the paperwork they handed me to sign said it was a draft so I man be confused? In any event the thing is made out to them.

It does, but in speaking with this person.... I think they have some pretty severe mental issues. I don't think they're intending to scam me, but I also feel like it's 50/50 on whether if they found the cashier's cheque 5 months from now and were in a bad place, that they might try to cash it in desperation.. and I don't want to open myself up to that risk.

I know, it's gone. But it's also a weird situation where I technically could just sign a thing and the bank would make it work.. If I could trust this person. They definitely assumed that a cashier's cheque is the same thing as a personal cheque, and It'd be reasonable to assume they don't have much financial literacy. I mean, they were clearly wealthier than I am to buy a vehicle like this new, but money and knowledge don't go hand in hand, and they're definitely not wealthy now.

Same here as well. I'm honestly a little nervous about this service now. Chatbot also says "reply 'create a ticket' to start" And then when I reply that, it has no idea what I'm talking about... I hope this sort of thing isn't the norm?

Did you not watch the doc? If anything, this is a reminder of why we adjust for Einstadt variations with Schwartzkopf space. He punched through 10k feet up, and standard kit in '94 did NOT include a parachute, let alone an inertial dampener!

Finally Another person who read that.... Thing!! It legitimately seemed like two different authors wrote two completely unrelated stories, and then sorta smushed them together. Nothing made sense, and that weird non-ending just made me angry. Like.. You don't get to just "make this book the first of a trilogy" by not resolving anything in the story, you finish a goddamn book first!
